Koszyce or Košice is now a major city in Polish Federation stretching from northern Hungary to Lesser Poland, bordering with Austria. The first town of Koszyce was founded by TypowyPLBatman on 7th of December of 2018 but disbanded two months later. 3meraldK reestablished this city on the 9th of March 2019.
History
Founding Kosice
TypowyPLBatman founded Koszyce in beginning of December 2018. On the eve of the fall of Kosice it was very poorly developed - two houses, barn, jail and a one paved road.
The First Great Server War
On 22nd of December 2018, Great Moravian Empire issued an ultimatum to Poland demanding Kosice go to GME because they had claims on Slovakia. The government declined their proposal resulting in a declaration of war. Invaders have been defeated under Kosice - they attacked the city with small Moravian force - and two of them which were poorly trained and badly equipped soldiers, died. Few rushes were made, but no significant damage was done to either side. Then, Polish forces marched towards Prague, but Poles have been defeated in Moravian capital. Then, Moravian allies marched west to Warsaw and later, tied after tough resistance of defenders. On 2nd of January 2019 Poland signed peace treaty in which Kosice had to rejoin GME.
Massacre of Kosice and its collapse
Koszyce was given away to some random player called cosmicpanther15 on 2nd of January 2019, but probably before, small polish division burnt houses and destroyed infrastructure and few buildings. Weeks later on an unknown date, Kosice has fallen.
Founding new Kosice
Two months later, on 5th March 2019, 3meraldK joined the game for the first time and wanted to settle in old Krakow's ruins thus he founded town called Metropol, but after the dissatisfaction of many Polish citizens, he changed his opinion and founded Kosice just above ruins.
Golden Era
At the beginning of April 2019, Koszyce developed a lot. Two high skyscrapers, shops and hotels were built. At the end of March, they built also a jail and farm. Thisek Double Tower was built in the summer of 2019 and it's the highest skyscraper in Poland. It's tall for ~150 blocks and has two enormous towers merged in one skyscraper. Thisek, then a known player in Koszyce, suggested to build an enormous space for industrial production and to grow town's economy significantly. He spent 250 gold to claim few more chunks and started to build an enormous industrial area. His buildings provided lots of food, crops, wool, villagers et cetera. Koszyce at the moment was self-sufficient city providing materials for other towns in Poland and selling their products, causing in local economy growth.
Rebellion
On September 2020, cities of Koszyce, Krakow and Rzeszow rebelled from Poland and created their own dependent-to-Austria state called West Galicia. Royal reforms caused a significant development of this region as new state was founded.
Reunification of Poland
By reunification, Koszyce was allowed to finally contact with Polish neighbors like Rzeszow and strongly cooperate with cities in Poland. They built new infrastructure from Koszyce straight to Kiev, Ukraine, but also to modern Warsaw, and so Elblag, north of Poland. Reunification also let towns to develop and tidy up regions of Poland much more than they could before.
Architecture
- Thisek Double Tower; biggest and yet normally-looking skyscraper in Poland.
- Mill and medieval house; moved on nearby hill
- Ancient castle in Eger; a Hungarian player settled next to ruins of old Koszyce but his town fell in summer of 2019. Kosice claimed his castle and rebuilt it in 2021.
- SSziom Tower; now has been lowered to one-story apartment because tower was horrible.
- Ancient ruins of Kosice; it's protected monument from December of 2018 and only half of buildings are missing.
