An '''Absolute Monarchy''' is more like a [[Dictatorship]] in which the leader, '''King''', or '''Monarch''', can do whatever they want with and in the nation. Everything the '''Monarch''' says, goes and there is no disobedience to the throne. Usually the family of the throne is very wealthy and lives a good life, leaving the members of the nation to starve. In EMC this is not the case, because it is very easy to immigrate to another nation as soon as the current nation treats them terribly. Usually it's just an all powerful leader that has a "throne" and there are heirs ''sometimes''.
An '''Absolute Monarchy''' is a Monarchy in which the Monarch has complete and authoritative rule over the nation, although usually guided to make decisions by advisors. '''Absolute Monarchy''' is typically replaced with '''Constitutional Monarchy''' over time. When it is not, the majority of the nation lives relatively good lives (of course varying upon where they live, and other factors,) without thinking too much of the '''Monarchy''' or the Monarch. In EMC, this is the least practiced variant of Monarchy. Heirs are somewhat rare.

A '''Constitutional Monarchy''' is more like a [[Democracy]] in how they support '''Independent Rights '''to members of the nation. A '''Constitutional Monarchy''' has more freedom and wealth in non-royalty than an '''Absolute Monarchy'''. In EMC this Monarchy system is the mainly used '''Monarchy''', as it's the most wanted '''Monarchy''' by players on EMC. Monarchism is the advocacy of monarchy or monarchical rule. A monarchist is an individual who supports this form of government, independent of any specific monarch; one who espouses a particular monarch is a royalist. Conversely, the opposition to monarchical rule is sometimes referred to as Republicanism. (Definition from Wikipedia)

Beliefs and Practices

Although there are a multitude of Monarchical practices in real life, only two exist on EMC; Absolute Monarchy and Constitutional Monarchy. They are described here.

Absolute Monarchy

An Absolute Monarchy is a Monarchy in which the Monarch has complete and authoritative rule over the nation, although usually guided to make decisions by advisors. Absolute Monarchy is typically replaced with Constitutional Monarchy over time. When it is not, the majority of the nation lives relatively good lives (of course varying upon where they live, and other factors,) without thinking too much of the Monarchy or the Monarch. In EMC, this is the least practiced variant of Monarchy. Heirs are somewhat rare.

Constitutional Monarchy

A Constitutional Monarchy is a Monarchy in which the power of the Monarch is rather limited. In EMC, this is the primarily used variant of Monarchy, due to it being the most sought after. note from Sylaslolllllll: this page was extremely informal, lacking neutrality and was extremely biased. I redid both Absolute Monarchy and Constitutional Monarchy also due to the factual incorrectness within them; Constitutional Monarchy only limits the power of the Monarch. the government can still deny rights and wealth to the members of the nation. whoever wrote this seriously needs to do their research before writing.

List of Monarchies in EMC

You can always add to this list. Here is a small list of Monarchies:

Former Monarchies

Those nations which used to be a monarchy or the monarchies that fell in times of turmoil.
