The Kingdom of Borneo is a nation in the Asian South Pacific, currently led by King AdrianHES. It was founded on March 24, 2025 by Loganslair following the onset of the Indochinese Civil War. A monarchy, Borneo also features an elected administrative body, including a President and a Cabinet of Ministers. It exists on the island of Borneo, and lays de jure claim to the entirety of the island, though ownership is contested by Indochina during the ongoing conflict. Borneo is controlled by the Volkov Royal Family of Albany, who considers itself the successor and claimant to the Imperial Dynasty of Quebec - making Borneo a type of successor-state to Terra Nova's Imperial Quebec.

Borneo is controlled by King AdrianHES, the head of the Volkov Royal Family. Power is shared with an elected Executive Branch, consisting of the President and his cabinet of Ministers.

The power base of Borneo rests in the capital city of Albany, with much of the ministries/government infrastructure having been adopted from the previous city-state of Albany.
History
Borneo claims to be a successor-state to Terra Nova's Imperial Quebec, and by extension, the Volkov Family is a successor to the Quebec Imperial Dynasty. While Albany has attempted to consolidate Borneo into a single power since May 2022, it finally achieved this vision on March 24, 2025 when the state was formally created following the onset of the Indochinese Civil War. Currently, control of the island of Borneo is contested between Indochina, of which Albany was previously subject, and the Kingdom of Borneo.
