The Baja Bears was intended to be a professional football and racing team based in Tijuana. The Baja Bears were intended to compete in the Earth Football League (EFL) and Formula 1. The team was intended to be administered by the People's Commissariat for Sportly Activities of the Baja Soviet Republic.
Planning for the Team
The Baja Soviet Republic was intended to have a sports team, which was intended to be oversaw by the People's Commissariat for Sportly Activities. Inspiration for a sports team came from the Alaska Orcas and Coats' involvement in Formula 1 racing.
The team mascot was chosen, the bear, after the Russian bear, the symbol of Russia, which was formerly a communist state. An image for the mascot was found online via an images search. The official team name was chosen as the "Baja Bears," based from the same things as the mascot.
Although basic planning was undertaken, BetaPlain did not enroll the sports team in either EFL or Formula 1, due to the fact that the Baja Soviet Republic was never created.
Discord Server
A separate discord server was created for the Baja Bears with inspiration from the Alaska Orca's discord server. On top of these things, plans were made for Tijuana to host a Formula 1 racetrack and potentially a football field, drawing inspiration from the Coats race track and the Innucisai football field in Terra Nova.
