Emerald as of 25/12/2025

Emerald or Esmeralda is a North Alaskan town located in the Yukon region. It has 10 residents. The current mayor is a holder, notDarkwar, who was the co-mayor of New_Aubrey. The town was founded by Addychi01, the main mayor, who is currently not in the nation, sniping. The town is 65-chunks big. The town board says, "Everything is lazy and needs energy to move," a reference to Newton's law of inertia. Lastly, the town sometimes has Outsider Spawn enabled, and 25 quarters of varying functions. The current three most active town members are Repathed, Fancqeen, jchek14 and the holder, notDarkwar.

Buildings

At its spawn, there is a map of the town and the town flag (designed by Addychi01, adapted by whalemaro). Mapart of the nation flag is sold there. There is a multicolored dirt part, and to the left in front of spawn, there is a cobblestone generator (made by code_tempesterss, and to the right, there is a sniffer farm (made by The_Game_Genius), with 8 sniffers, a cow, and a chicken.

Behind the sniffer farm, 3 gates connect to a basement farm, with 16 chickens, 1 red sheep, 4 cows, 2 sniffers, and a 5x5 plot of wheat planted, below the house of the first resident (The_Game_Genius). Next to the sniffer farm, there is a community storage with 10 barrels for residents to access, and utility blocks. Near it, there is a donation hopper next to some old chests, in front of a pile of anvils. There is also a well.

There is a defunct smelter and some old barrels near the sniffer farm, near which there is some pale moss and normal moss and azalea. There is a path down to the mines through a water elevator and a drop with water below, which also serves as a pedway to the now deleted town of Sapphire, next to which there is a water source for dried ghasts. Nearby, there is a town board with 12 signs, and an empty item frame which used to have a book which detailed the method to create the Emerald flag on a banner (written by whalemaro).

There is a manual enchanter, 2 kelp/bonemeal farms (automatic), 28 sugarcane farms (automatic), a bamboo farm surrounding a garden, a small nether wart farm, two cherry trees planted by The_Game_Genius, some more cherry trees planted by Fancqeen, and the garden itself (also made by The_Game_Genius), which contains around 15 different plants/crops. There are 2 different nether portals, and a now-defunct auto-fishing farm made by SweetHoneyCombo.

The town has an unused "restaurant" made by code_tempesterss, and a complex underground system of tunnels collecting the storages of automatic farms, and goes down to an explosion testing area. The town also has a makeshift Happy Ghast hangar, and 3 small resident-made shops. The town has 18 houses including a treehouse and a maxxed out beacon. Three parkour paths go around the town.

The town has 5 built "floors," each with an estimated 30 block gap, connected by water elevators, which also connects to the roof of the sugarcane farms (for maintenance). The first floor contains the majority of the town, the second contains some houses, the third contains some more houses, the beacon, and a shop. The fourth floor has a villa made by JimplayzMC and a small nether wart farm, and the last/fifth floor has some wooden pillars, which were meant to be for a megashop. The frame of a 6th floor which is unbuilt can also be seen.

History

Creation and Early Days

On 28 February 2025 (presumably), Addychi01 joined the almost 3 month old nation of Denali. He had formerly joined EarthMC on 5 June 2023, having joined the towns of Morocco and England formerly. After 42daying, he was lost in the middle of the jungle with no food. He received a town invite and DMs (in-game) from AloofJuice, the mayor of Ruby and leader of Denali. Tempted by the diamonds he was offered, he joined the town of Ruby, the capital of Denali. There, for almost a month, he owned three different plot, two of unbuilt houses, and one of a freely sold built house which he still has trust in at the new Ruby (formerly Ruby_Embassy, founded by Addychi01 after Ruby and Denali fell, with him wishing to protect his house/embassy), with the plot named "Daddychi" as a joke.

He had joined the Denali Discord the same day and was particularly active. One day, after requesting an extra group of plots from AloofJuice, planning on making a production business named "Invisco." Seizing the opportunity at the height of tensions between [[1]] and Denali, AloofJuice offered him a new town between Castle_John and Teslin of Alaska. He was funded and Addychi01 made the town, named Emerald (named as a sister city of Ruby).

This was on April Fools Day 2025, i.e. 1 April 2025. On that day itself, he was funded both the town and 8 more chunks for it. Soon he began making a sugarcane farm, after meeting JimplayzMC, the mayor of SigmaIsland (now Walrus_Isle, the capital of JimplayzMC's owned, self-made nation, Bering_Sea) in nation chat, he hired him. He also met 8set (now the leader of North Alaska/the North Pacific Empire, a renamed Mckinley, which was purchased by Addychi01 and given to kittyco106/BlizzardCyclone/Taconyte from Hashbrown_922 for ~700g) at the town, who humorously accidentally left claims with almost 600g in his inventory at Emerald.

xHydre, a NWT/Mackenzie traitor who had joined Alaska with his town (Castle_John and Fort_Nina), once killed Addychi01, stealing 22 gold while the latter was taking obsidian from a portal near Emerald. Addychi01's items were taken ransom by xHydre, telling Addychi01 to join Alaska. AloofJuice attempted to contact Alaska about this, with no response from their government, whose monarchs were on vacation, with a suspended democracy.

Also meeting real_vgi (Governor of the District of Klaudia/Regional District of Aduna, who later quit and formed his own Earth-based map server, named GlobeMC, development is currently on hold due to certain issues though) and SirBeehasknees (a person Addychi01 later met again after he 42dayed, and talked to on Discord, bonding over real-life similarities) in the nation chat while they were building a casino at real_vgi's town, Aduna, he joined the Aduna regional authority, as he did not fully understand the politics of his nation yet, keeping the flag displayed.

JimplayzMC constructed 6 more sugarcane farms, each farm was one chunk wide and 4 units tall. After consulting StinkyAnson of Manifest_Destiny, Addychi01 was told to make an iron farm, but finding that expensive, he opted for a kelp farm design from the same. He constructed one one chunk wide and 1 unit tall kelp farm to produce bonemeal. JimplayzMC again made another one of it, but the farm remained non-functional for a few months due to a design flaw. Alongside, JimplayzMC designed the town spawn hut.

Expansion

After meeting not_teav, a hunter outlawed from Denali at a shop, Addychi01 and he became friends. Addychi01 gave him an Embassy plot at his town to build, which not_teav used to like better than hunting in those days. The town storage back then was simply a few double chests on the floor. Shortly after, a few Nubian leaders and others, including NebulaNomad56, twomoo1119, MrPickle26 and more came across the town and began griefing it. Forced to work with his friends, JimplayzMC acted as if he was griefing the town and pretended to loot the chests, calling Addychi01 broke to his friends. JimplayzMC recorded the incident and sent it to Addychi01 on Discord, moreover, not_teav's embassy was destroyed. not_teav and JimplayzMC accused each other of involvement in the grief.

Most of the griefers were outlawed from the town. Due to not knowing the grief rollback features, JimplayzMC, Addychi01 and not_teav fixed the town themselves, as each had /t trust there. The ground near the non-functional smelter is still made of netherrack till this day. This happened due to explosions being on in the town, as Addychi01 was terraforming the 9-chunk land. They utilised TNT cannons for the grief. Addychi01 later claimed 40g, twice to fool the griefers as compensation for the grief.

Requiring money, Addychi01 turned to the recruiting challenges 8set offered, earning a lot of money alongside FellowEsin, the mayor of Turingworld. The first resident at Emerald was The_Game_Genius, the second was kskeltonn, followed by others including whalemaro as the third. The_Game_Genius constructed the town's livestock farm in his base, a sniffer farm, and a massive garden, being the resident who contributed the most. code_tempesterss was also recruited in the town and code_tempesterss and whalemaro began recruiting. Visualising a futuristic ecumenopolis-like town such as Coruscant from Star Wars, Addychi01 constructed multiple layers to his town alongside FellowEsin and JimplayzMC. At the town's peak, it had almost 20 residents in 9 plots, each with enough space.

At that time, since Addychi01 didn't know of quarters, he utilised /plot trust to fit multiple residents in a level's plot. One resident even lived in whalemaro's basement, who stole 64g given to them as funding which they hid near it in a secret vault. That resident never came online again. JimplayzMC constructed a marvellous villa on one of Emerald's floors, using concrete they looted from the nearby ruins of Helvetia which Addychi01 discovered from the Emerald Nether Portal. Another notable resident was jchek14, who 42dayed, only to come back twice, and is still currently in the town, owning his original plots, he formed the town's underground connection system. code_tempesterss fixed the kelp farms.

Splitting/Post-Denali

Despite being only 15 chunks big, Emerald had plenty of residents, and soon became the capital of the Denali province, the Yukon Frontier, with Addychi01 as its new governor, on 10 May 2025, merely a month and a week after its creation. It split into the Central District and itself, the Central District under the management of 8set in Dawnstar. This gave the town jurisdiction of 9 towns, two of which, named Vandenreich and Sabattus, got purged, leading to the need of a Yukon chain. The towns in that jurisdiction were (in no particular order)- Vandenreich, Sabattus, Turingworld, Apple, Andelom, Polane, Dundass_Bay, Klawock, Emerald, and cool_island. As of now, only cool_island, Polane and Turingworld still survive, apart from, of course, Emerald. code_tempesterss made a town shop alongside The_Game_Genius on one of the town floors.

After a certain period of the banwave, Addychi01 decided that it was time to give code_tempesterss (former Councillor) a town to join a chain to the Yukon (to connect Turingworld). At first they tried whalemaro's help (former Councillor) who created a town named Sapphire (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire), and code_tempesterss connected Emerald to Sapphire through a pedway. Then, code_tempesterss was given a town after another failed attempt by saller_ar and his town, The_Saller_Hills, who was a resident in Denali. Finally, it succeeded as code_tempesterss, who accidentally bought premium, made Torchville. (now Azalea).

For some time, infamous hacker SweetHoneyCombo owned an auto-fishing embassy at Emerald. When jchek14 first purged, a hobbit house he was making was given as an Embassy to PositiveDrag0n of Rus, who gave it down to Retroboi14. Now, jchek14 and his friend's own the hobbit houses at Emerald.

JimplayzMC was hired to build a megashop on the second highest floor but never completed it. DevourerofCheese was given a quarter to sell items, and Mittens4Kittens and stompyblue were contacted, who agreed to sell Enchanted Books there. SweetHoneyCombo was given a town in Denali named HoneyNest (or presumably Honeynest), west of Teslin to form another Yukon chain after Denali began falling, among other towns made during that time and given to others to revive Denali, before her betrayal and ban. She deleted the town soon after and later owned the nation of SiberianRepublic (formerly Rus, of Retroboi14).

The town continued dead, and was soon given to BobsMarketLLC to hold, a former Denali leader who had quit, so that Addychi01 could pursue town sniping. Addychi01 attempted to revive it, only to fail miserably. The_Game_Genius had 42dayed, and so had whalemaro, who had given his town to a real-life friend who he lost contact with and joined Alaska. whalemaro later came back to EarthMC, creating a town named Gupbane, but eventually 42dayed again, leaving his heads and loot to Addychi01 at the Emerald donation box. It was later found that whalemaro was ErnestitoQue, and just recently came back as TheSinsurgent

After BobsMarketLLC, the town was left to BlahBlahLolz (who owned a shop at Emerald), the last remaining resident, who 42dayed as well. Luckily, gangster1221 sniped the town for Addychi01 and he took back his town. (Post the fall of Denali)

Soon, the town joined the nation of North Alaska, the official successor nation of Denali, and Addychi01 attempted to recruit. At this point, the garden The_Game_Genius made had been claimed, and the town was 65 chunks big. Addychi01 plotted to make a headshop alongside Miyawakiii on the former mega-shop planned floor, but the plan never went through. Realising the need to make a chain town to allow New_Drepanum (now Drepanum) to join North Alaska, Addychi01 gave the town to the co-mayor of New Aubrey another North Alaskan town, notDarkwar, who still currently holds Emerald.

As of now, 2 out of Emerald's 3 non-Denali members no longer exist, those being Castle_John (Alaska), Teslin (Alaska), and Caribou_Meadows/APE_INCORPORATED (Cascadia) (The latter two having been deleted).

All details of this article are accurate as of 04 February 2026. There was a town named Ruby (owned by Gautomy) made long before Denali, but we refer to the latter's capital as "old" Ruby.
