Controversial and probably unpopular opinion:
We have reached endgame long time ago. Emc is long overdue for a reset. Reset the map and all player data. Preferably sooner than later.

Terra Nova has passed the point classic was at when it reset long time ago. Nations are crammed together, all the major wars that need to be fought have been fought and overall the server is just existing in a sort of stale and limbo state. A reset would reinvigorate the server and attract far more people and create more action.
Right now all people do is build which is seriously turning people off since everything is consolidated and stale. If I want to play a build server I’ll just go on creative. A reset would immediately solve this issue. I use to play on a decent sized towny server which reset every year due to the fact that things become stale and players reach endgame pretty quickly.
A reset would allow the staff team to fix the many issues that plague TN and get them right (shop signs comes to mind and perhaps even optimizing towny a bit more) The server is overcrowded and I’m no technical expert but the fact that it’s having data issues is a bit of a warning sign (correct me if I’m wrong please)
When emc reset back in 2018 the player base completely exploded with enthusiasm and new activity, a reset would allow this to occur once again only with a much larger player base than when classic reset.
The reason why so many people demand a war plugin is because it’s the only solution to end the deadlock that currently infests the server. The alternative to that is obviously a reset and a reset seems like a much more feasible and doable solution in my opinion.
One suggestion that I’d make to spice things up is removing /n spawns for allies and making them only for nation members, this would give the new server a completely new and different vibe to the current server, encouraging more regionalism, less globalisation and more realism due to the need to move around more and construct more ice lines and other physical means of transportation. Everything is too easy, it should be challenging to get around.
(Not directly related to a reset but adding onto the suggestion above:
I know that many players support higher nation prices but that’s only a temporary fix to the issue of one man newfag nations. I think removing allied n spawns would force towns to regionally collectivise more and work together to build transportation since new nations couldn’t be made for the “I need global teleportation to my town” excuse because the only people teleporting there would be nation members and well, one man nations don’t have any.)
Furthermore the server economy has been completely destroyed and inflated. A reset would fix this alongside the suggestion I made above about removing /n spawns for allies. Regionalism is far better for the economy than the globalisation we face rn.
Obviously the map should remain the same, I doubt there is any need for a bigger one.

It’s time for a reset, I’m open to hearing counter arguments in the comments. Every towny/factions server resets eventually. It’s time. If you're going to downvote at least provide a reason why you disagree. A healthy debate is always good to have.
