A lot of people from Argentina invaded the town and Joel02 in response managed to get some hits and lava bucketed some of them, he did not stand a real chance on his own though.

Things settled down for a bit until Joel02 decided to leave and focus on exams. He handed the town over to a member of the Glacial empire and it remains a ghost town to this day.

On the 22nd of June 2020, Joel02 returned to the Falklands to create a new town 'Port-Howard' and a future nation. It is much bigger than the previous town and has maxed out at a decent 50 claims; shortly after the creation of the town, Argentina founded a new town on the Falklands right next to Joel02's town, once again called 'Malvinas'.
 
There was no official treaty with Joel02 specifically in regards to the Falklands War, however now its more of a conflict/cold war as there have not been any battles yet, and both towns only have a population of one. It is clear though that if Joel02 creates a nation, there will be a major battle in the future, especially once Port-Howard has citizens.
