Conflicts would also arise from disputes over land ownership with the nations Peru and Manabi. Frosti became more and more hostile towards nearby towns and began hunting down players near his town and all over South America. At one point he tried to overthrow the Norwegian government through violent means.

Early on some players noted the recurring use of the word ''"vafan" (what the fuck),'' which would then be turned into a meme. The most devoted vafan spammers (IceFrosti, Pinklady98, ItsTheBeast and Yasna08) proceeded to create ''vafanism'' on April 20'','' a religious cult with Frosti as the De facto leader.
