IceFrosti
IceFrosti is an EarthMC player. He is the current nation leader of Cordoba which is located in northern South America. He is most commonly refered to as Frosti by his friends and acquaintances, and has been an active player since early 2020.
History
2019 - The Beginning
IceFrosti joined the server on August 16 under the username isfrostis (which would later be changed to IceFrosti when migrating his account). He was one of many player who found the server from watching the now infamous ibxtoycat video, a YouTuber who decided to tour the server which brought a flood of new players. Frosti spawned in the middle of Russia and decided to head east in the hopes of reaching Sweden.
At this point he had no idea that you could join a town and therefore teleport to nations, and so he traveled from Russia to Sweden by walking. On his way he found a tamed horse, some tools, and other stuff. After arriving in Sweden he dug a whole in the ground, made a small stable for his horse and then made plans to start a town. However, he wouldn't log on again until January 2020.
2020 - The birth of Cordoba
IceFrosti had mostly forgotten about the server but decided to log back on January 12 2020. At this point his horse had despawned, his previous player data was gone and Europe had started getting packed with claims which left little room for Frosti to make a town. Because of this he decided to cross the Atlantic Ocean and make a town in the less crowded South America. After grinding gold for 4 days straight he founded the town of Flavor Town in the Colombia area. Therefore Frosti never joined another town or spoke to anyone on the server until making his town, and to this day is still active in said town.
Cuban Allies
For most of early 2020 Frosti recruited residents and grinded for gold to expand his town and eventually created the nation of Cordoba on July 9th. In the early days of Cordoba he became close ally with the Cuban Empire, who would remain great allies in the years to come. Cuban players such as _Beanyy, Antlex, Superiorg1itch and Pooschel would provide guidance to Frosti and eventually involve him in Cuban politics. At the end of 2020 Flavor Town had become a medium-sized town and a few towns had joined the nation.
2021 - Expansion, building & politics
This year would prove to be very eventful for IceFrosti for a number of reasons. Being an extremely active player he would become more well-known in the following months, which in turn would lead to his nation getting more visitors who bought from his shops. Frosti would use his wealth to invest in a large number of building-projects such as an ice-race track, skyscrapers, a private resort, an airport, mega-mansions, a strip club and the now infamous Satanic Church.
During pride month Frosti would decorate his town with lgbtq+ flags and banners which caused some controversy. This, together with his outspoken socialist beliefs would often cause intense debates in chat with more right-wing players. On March 26 he married his friend and fellow Cordoban Samura_, which was the largest gay wedding in EMC history at that point. Since it took place in the Church of Satan, It was most likely the first satanic wedding as well. Samura_ and IceFrosti would later get divorced.
Toxicity & conflicts
For the first half of 2021 IceFrosti would continue to spam communist propaganda in chat and aggitate random players he saw as bigoted. A number of long-lasting feuds would result from this, most notably with the nations of Francia, CSA, Norge, numerous norwegian and danish players, and some Israeli players. Conflicts would also arise from disputes over land ownership with the nations Peru and Manabi. Frosti became more and more hostile towards nearby towns and began hunting down players near his town and all over South America. At one point he tried to overthrow the Norwegian government through violent means, but without success.
Cult of Vafan
Frosti and Pinklady98 would become great friends sometime in March and would often speak Swedish in global chat. Early on some players noted the recurring use of the word "vafan" (what the fuck), which would then be turned into a meme. The most devoted vafan spammers (IceFrosti, Pinklady98, ItsTheBeast and Yasna08) proceeded to create vafanism on April 20, a religious cult with Frosti as the De facto leader.
The first and only vafan church was built in Cordoba and Flavor Town was renamed to vafan. A bible was made filled with 12 commandments and was marketed as a "self-help book". After more radical members such as Beanfart505 decided to carry out violent crusades in the name of Vafan, the cult began losing popularity. Frosti has since tried to distance himself from the movement and the current status of the cult is unknown.
Redemption arc
The town of Vafan was renamed to Heaven to cut affiliations with vafanism and to attract new residents. Frosti also decided to clear his image by not debating in chat and instead get involved politically on Discord in the movement known as The Internationale, a marxist EarthMC community. He would attend monthly meetings and eventually climb the ranks of the group up until it's disbandment sometime in late 2021.
At this point his town had reached the resident and claim limit, and with no longer needing to recruit new residents he changed the name once again from Heaven to its current name Monteria. He also became more involved in Cuban politics and was elected government advisor, a position he holds to this day.
2022 - Girlbossing
Once Monteria had reached the claim limit, Frosti could focus all his time on expanding the infrastructure and even invest in a new shop. More people started visiting the nation for this reason and it was growing in a faster rate than ever before. Also, when the players ItsTheBeast and Yasna08 quit the server they left behind a large sum of gold for their nearest friends and Frosti was one of them. This made Frosti rich for the first time in his EarthMC life. The gold was mainly used to fund new and more large-scale building projects in cordoba, and Frosti even helped the nation of Mexico with some builds. A lot of gold was also spent on investing in map art, hoarding rare items, and gambling.
Personal Life
IceFrosti has had two marriages on EMC, one being with Samura who he later divorced. The divorce resulted in Samura losing custody of their two children, who now live in an undisclosed location somewhere in Cordoba. Frosti is married to Pinklady98a since March 29 2022. On his freetime he likes to fish in Madagascar, collect pride flag heads, go on vacation in Cuba, and annoy Pinklady.
