History

xstoicx joined EMC on September 14, 2023, with the ambitious goals of establishing his own town and eventually founding an independent nation. Like many newcomers to the server, he faced the steep learning curve of navigating complex server rules, understanding the established empires, and mastering the game's mechanics.

HayRiver

xstoicx created HayRiver under a different username in September 2023, at this time the town was only a single chunk. Hay River was founded on the site of a previously made town, there was a tower made from spruce planks, and a field of wheat on the eastern side of the town. Nothing was terraformed at the time, it was a very un even area that took laborious days to flatten for new builds. The first town expansion harbored many small buildings including a store, a bank, other small buildings that were owned by mahomeyfan and rodekeel. In early 2024 xstoicx was heavily influenced by other building styles and urban planning in other north american towns, thus he removed all builds and began terraforming the area once again; making the outline for the current town layout which contains the quartz town hall. Hay River is project only possible due to Cascadia's "welfare" program, which allowed him a certain allotment every month as a mayor. xstoicx had a vision to make the small town into a regional hub; the surrounding land around the lake would be a great site for a metropolis as he thought during hay rivers development and design. Hay River was to have many small shops in the west ran by town residents, there would be roads connected all around the lake with allies; the area would be a beacon for trade and a new nation. Hay River was the capitol of the nation NWT, which was later changed to Aurora:Mackenzie after a 2.1 ruling. Hay River at its peak had 280 chunks, costing about 4,500g out of pocket. whatever "welfare" that came from cascadia was payed back in full after setrus forced xstoicx to pay it back becuase he was jelous of him for creating a new nation. xstoicx made several attempts to sell the town and nation, settlings for a lousy 3500g from Tuzzzie who was too cheap to offer more. Hay River grew in size in only one year, the growing population and capitalist threat in the south ultimatly lead to the demise of the Mackenzie realm; xstoicx hopes that Hay River will be a time capsule of ingenuity and urban design to inspire future builders to come.

ChillVille

This is xstoicx's new town located on the northern coast of Alaska. xstoicx and his fortune are kept here for safekeep, until he decides to sell the 200+ head colections he has amassed one day to fund a new nation.

Political Career

Cascadia

A prominent figure in North American socialist politics, xstoicx previously revived the Cascadia Communist Party. He championed social welfare programs, proposed a senate chamber to integrate new and experienced players into the government, and advocated for a party-based political system similar to Canada's.

xstoicx faced criticism for his leftist ideology. The Christian-dominated government, harboring prejudices against the lower class and driven by self-interest, displayed bias against him. He perceived the Cascadian government as an oligarchy controlled by a clique of wealthy, real-life friends who operated in private Discord channels, making decisions that ultimately damaged his reputation within Cascadian politics.

xstoicx vehemently denies allegations of attempting a "government takeover" made by the Cascadian elite. He maintains that his goal was to democratize the system and create a more equitable environment for new players like himself.

During his term as a representative for the Great North constituency, xstoicx advocated for justice, peace, and the development of northern infrastructure.
