=== Government Collapse ===

Midway through Panth_r's term as Prime Minister, on August 17, 2025, he resigned and handed over his position to BCN_Mark. This was followed by the resignation of the governor general, the external affairs and infrastructure ministers, and then six members of parliament. These resignations meant that no party from either side of the opposition could form a government, resulting in the temporary removal of the party system and a serious look into how Pilbara will have to manage itself and its democracy in the present and future.

The amount of resignations and reasons for the resignations remains unknown and elusive with all but one coming from the Labour Party.

=== Discord Nuke ===

On October 9th, months after the departure of ~~player~~ Dishonesty, Pilbara's Discord was nuked by ~~Dishonesty's~~ EMC utility bot, McGooner. The nuke occurred at 4:24pm 8/10/2025 UTC and resulted in the deletion of all channels, however, roles were not affected. The nuke was initiated during an [https://open.spotify.com/episode/3WWoThxyyVrPhcuwmIJ6Ny interview] involving Panth_r and Dishonesty as part of the Global Chat Podcast. The moderations' response to the nuke was to create a new Discord server and issue a public statement. Reactions to the nuke were generally negative, with nations like Cascadia offering to support Pilbara.
