As of 26 December 2025, Emerald or '''Esmeralda''' has 13 residents, and is located in the Yukon region, present in the nation of North Alaska. The current mayor is a holder, DarkwarJM, who was the co-mayor of New_Aubrey. The town was founded by Addychi01, the main mayor, who is currently in a chain town named Donut_Plains. The town is 65-chunks big, and has 34g in the town bank. The town board says, "Everything is lazy and needs energy to move," a reference to Newton's law of inertia. Lastly, the town sometimes has Outsider Spawn enabled, and 25 quarters of varying functions.

At its spawn, there is a map of the town and the town flag (designed by Addychi01, adapted by whalemaro). There is a multicolored dirt part, and to the left in front of spawn, there is a cobblestone generator (made by code_tempesterss, and to the right, there is a sniffer farm (made by The_Game_Genius), with 8 sniffers, a cow, and a chicken.

Behind the sniffer farm, 3 gates connect to a basement farm, with 16 chickens, 1 red sheep, 4 cows, 2 sniffers, and a 5x5 plot of wheat planted, below the house of the first resident (The_Game_Genius). Next to the sniffer farm, there is a community storage with 10 barrels for residents to access, and utility blocks. Near it, there is a donation hopper next to some old chests, in front of a pile of anvils. There is also a well.

There is a defunct smelter and some old barrels near the sniffer farm, near which there is some pale moss and normal moss and azalea. There is a path down to the mines through a water elevator and a drop with water below, which also serves as a pedway to the now deleted town of Sapphire, next to which there is a water source for dried ghasts. Nearby, there is a town board with 12 signs, and an empty item frame which used to have a book which detailed the method to create the Emerald flag on a banner (written by whalemaro).

There is a manual enchanter, 2 kelp/bonemeal farms (automatic), 28 sugarcane farms (automatic), a bamboo farm surrounding a garden, a small nether wart farm, two cherry trees planted by The_Game_Genius, some more cherry trees planted by Fancqeen, and the garden itself (also made by The_Game_Genius), which contains around 15 different plants/crops. There are 2 different nether portals, and a now-defunct auto-fishing farm made by SweetHoneyCombo.

The town has an unused "restaurant" made by code_tempesterss, and a complex underground system of tunnels collecting the storages of automatic farms, and goes down to an explosion testing area. The town also has a makeshift Happy Ghast hangar, and 3 small resident-made shops. The town has 18 houses including a treehouse and a maxxed out beacon. Three parkour paths go around the town. The town has 5 built "floors," each with an estimated 30 block gap, connected by water elevators, which also connects to the roof of the sugarcane farms (for maintenance). The first floor contains the majority of the town, the second contains some houses, the third contains some more houses, the beacon, and a shop. The fourth floor has a villa made by JimplayzMC and a small nether wart farm, and the last/fifth floor has some wooden pillars, which were meant to be for a megashop. The frame of a 6th floor which is unbuilt can also be seen.
