FORDaLoZ is an EarthMC player and military leader of the Fourth Nubian Empire. He is the King of Songhai, but is best known as the founder and current Head of The Nubian Army, having led its development since its establishment in May 2026. Serving as Nubia's Minister of Defence, FORDaLoZ has become one of Nubia's most prominent military figures through his continued leadership of the Army, his involvement in several notable conflicts, and his efforts to strengthen both the military and the safety of Nubian citizens.

Outside of his political career, FORDaLoZ is also recognised for his PvP ability. Having played competitive Minecraft PvP for 4 years before joining EarthMC, and achieving high-tier rankings on MCTiers, he entered the server with extensive combat experience. This reputation has carried into EarthMC, where he is widely regarded as one of Nubia's strongest combatants and has frequently led the nation's forces in battle.

History

Terra Aurora

Joining Djibouti

FORDaLoZ joined EarthMC during Terra Aurora on 7th March, 2026, settling in the Nubian town of Djibouti within the Third Nubian Empire. While his time on Aurora was relatively brief, it marked his introduction to the Nubian community and the beginning of several friendships that would continue into Terra Nostra.

Becoming a Hunter

Unlike his later history, FORDaLoZ's time on Aurora was not defined by politics or military leadership. Instead, he established himself primarily as a PvP player, becoming an active member of the Hunter's Guild (now the EMC PvP Guild) and earning a reputation for successfully completing player bounties worth up to 1,000 gold.

Early Relations

During this period he also became acquainted with several prominent Nubians, including felixsgt, then Mayor of Djibouti and Minister of Trade & Commerce.

EMC PvP Experience

Although Terra Aurora ended only a few weeks later, the experience proved significant. The relationships he formed and the combat experience he gained would later shape both his leadership and the military organisation he would establish in Terra Nostra.

Terra Nostra

Establishment of the Nubian Army

Beginnings in Napata

On 1st May, 2026, the day of Terra Nostra's public release, FORDaLoZ joined Nubia and entered the capital city of Napata. Upon joining the nation, he was invited by Emperor twomoo1119 to settle in the city and was provided with an apartment within the capital.

Early Army Headquarters

Although The Nubian Army had not yet been established, this apartment would later become the foundation of the Army's early headquarters, serving as the starting point of FORDaLoZ's involvement in Nubia's military development.

The Formation of the Nubian Army

Recognising the need for a dedicated military force, FORDaLoZ founded Terra Nostra’s Nubian Army on 2nd May, 2026, only one day after joining the server. Rather than existing as an informal group of fighters, the Army was conceived as a permanent institution responsible for the defence of Nubia and the protection of its citizens. During its earliest days, FORDaLoZ drafted its organisational structure, established its command hierarchy, and began recruiting the first generation of Nubian soldiers.

The rapid development of the Army quickly established FORDaLoZ as one of Nubia's leading organisers. Although the organisation was still in its infancy, its creation laid the foundations for Nubia's future defence.

Army Headquarters

As the Army expanded, its headquarters was established at Fort Ox, a military settlement founded to support the organisation's operations. Serving as both a logistical centre and military base, Fort Ox became the first home of The Nubian Army.

Minister of Defence

The establishment of The Nubian Army quickly elevated FORDaLoZ's standing within Nubia. As the organisation grew, so too did its importance to the nation, leading to his election as Nostra Nubia's first Minister of Defence on 19th May, 2026.

His appointment formalised the military role he had already assumed in practice. As Minister of Defence, FORDaLoZ continued overseeing the Army's expansion while introducing greater organisation to its command structure. Recruitment increased steadily, military responsibilities became more clearly defined, and Fort Ox continued to develop into the operational centre of Nubian defence.

Army Values

During his first term, FORDaLoZ advocated for a military centred around preparation rather than reaction. Soldiers were encouraged not only to develop their combat ability but also to remain equipped, organised, and ready to respond to threats at short notice. This philosophy would later become one of the defining characteristics of The Nubian Army.

Nubia-Aba Treaty of MMS

Military cooperation also became an increasing priority. On 31st May, 2026, FORDaLoZ signed the Nubia-Aba Treaty of Mutual Military Support, strengthening relations between Nubia and Aba and establishing one of the earliest formal military partnerships involving the Fourth Nubian Empire. The agreement laid the foundations for closer cooperation between the two nations and remained an important part of Nubia's diplomatic policy.

Early Battles/Conflicts

The Army's first month was marked by frequent military activity as Nubia sought to establish itself within Terra Nostra. Having only recently been founded, the organisation was repeatedly called upon to defend Nubian citizens and support allies against hostile players.

Dedicated Deterrence Mission

Its first operation took place on 3rd May, 2026, when soldiers FORDaLoZ, Acerse, felixsgt and ally TTV_OilTanker confronted the hunters CrazyDude5 and DianaMommy outside Napata. Despite the Army's limited equipment and experience at the time, the operation succeeded in forcing both hunters to withdraw, becoming the first successful dedicated deterrence mission conducted by The Nubian Army.

Skirmish of Hershey

Only a week later, the Army fought in the Skirmish of Hershey, where FORDaLoZ and Acerse attempted to defend Nubian residents against a group of Italian hunters. The engagement escalated unexpectedly after numerous invisible mercenaries entered the battle, overwhelming the Nubian force. Although forced to retreat, the encounter exposed the realities of large-scale PvP on Terra Nostra and influenced the Army's future emphasis on preparation and intelligence.

Battle of Phoenix

On 16th May, 2026, FORDaLoZ organised what was, at the time, the Army's largest deployment during the Battle of Phoenix. Working alongside Nubian soldiers and allied volunteers, he assembled a force to defend streamer DekuFullCowling while he constructed a charity wall near to the Arizonan town, Phoenix. The battle rapidly escalated as additional hunters arrived from across the server, turning a local defence into the largest engagement involving Nubia during Terra Nostra's opening weeks.

Although the defenders eventually withdrew, the objective was achieved: DekuFullCowling successfully completed the charity project. The battle became one of the Army's earliest defining moments, demonstrating both its willingness to defend allies beyond Nubia's borders and its ability to organise large-scale military operations despite being only weeks old.

Government Restructuring and Consolidation

Government Restructuring

Following the conclusion of Nubia's May-term government, FORDaLoZ entered the June 2026 elections seeking re-election as Minister of Defence.

Withdrawal from Elections

However, on 21st June, 2026, he withdrew his candidacy as part of a wider restructuring of the Nubian government. The decision saw the Army's former supplier, FudgingPerfect, assume the position of Minister of Defence, while FORDaLoZ remained Head of The Nubian Army.

Although no longer holding the ministerial office, little changed within the Army itself. FORDaLoZ continued directing military organisation, overseeing strategic decisions, and managing the Army's day-to-day operations, ensuring that the transition in government did not interrupt its development.

Appointment as Imperial Assistant

Two days later, on 23rd June, 2026, Emperor twomoo1119 proposed FORDaLoZ's appointment as Imperial Assistant. The proposal was unanimously approved by the Minister Cabinet, passing with 9 votes in favour and none against. His appointment reflected the confidence the government continued to place in him, though his time as IA proved to be short-lived.

Reinstatement

On 4th July, 2026, only thirteen days after the June-term government was announced, FudgingPerfect resigned from the position of Minister of Defence due to time constraints. In accordance with Nubian governmental procedure, FORDaLoZ was reinstated as Minister of Defence, resuming the office while continuing his role as Head of The Nubian Army.

Consolidating the Army

Following his reinstatement, FORDaLoZ shifted much of his attention towards strengthening the Army internally. Having already established its foundations during the opening weeks of Terra Nostra, his focus increasingly turned towards long-term organisation, recruitment, and readiness.

Recruiting Suppliers

New soldiers continued to be recruited into the Army alongside dedicated volunteer suppliers responsible for maintaining military equipment and resources. Training became a greater priority, while Fort Ox continued to develop as the logistical centre of Nubian military operations.

Period of Peace

Unlike the Army's earliest weeks, this period was characterised by relative stability. Rather than responding to frequent attacks, the Army spent much of its time preparing for future conflicts and improving its internal organisation. This period of preparation would later allow Nubia to respond more effectively whenever military intervention became necessary.

Despite the peace enjoyed by Nubia itself, the Army continued supporting allied nations when required. The most significant engagement during this period came on 18th July, 2026, during the Battle of SakharaFort.

Battle of SakharaFort

The battle began after Arabia requested military assistance against members of Red Sea who were harassing Arabian citizens at the town of SakharaFort. Responding to the request, FORDaLoZ assembled the available Nubian soldiers, including Acerse and notmusa_1 , together with several allied players, before travelling to reinforce the town.

Upon arrival, the Nubian force found itself heavily outnumbered by a larger group of well-equipped opponents. Despite the numerical disadvantage, the defenders held their ground for approximately twenty minutes, inflicting considerable damage before the battle eventually turned against them.

Both FORDaLoZ and Acerse were ultimately killed by enemy mace attacks, forcing the remaining Nubian forces to withdraw. Although the battle ended in retreat, it became an important learning experience for the Army. Afterwards, FORDaLoZ placed greater emphasis on ensuring sufficient manpower before committing to major engagements, a principle that continued to influence the Army's operational planning.

Modern Leadership

Following the events of the June-term government, FORDaLoZ continued serving as both Minister of Defence and Head of The Nubian Army, entering his third consecutive term in the August-term 2026 government (there was no July-term government due to a late-starting May-term government which carried over until August).

Plans Announcement

With the arrival of the summer break, FORDaLoZ began focusing on improvements that had previously been difficult to implement due to limited availability. Rather than focusing solely on military response, his plans aimed to further develop the Army as an organisation by improving training, accessibility, and preparation among its soldiers.

During the first thirteen days of the term, FORDaLoZ was unavailable in-game due to being abroad. Despite this, he remained involved in Nubian affairs and, only twenty hours after the announcement of the new government, released an announcement outlining his plans for the upcoming term.

Among these plans were the creation of PvP tournaments for soldiers and citizens, dedicated combat practice sessions, an larger PvP arena for training and competitions, a safety guide to educate Nubian citizens, and continued recruitment to strengthen the Army's ranks.

These initiatives represented a continuation of FORDaLoZ's wider approach to military leadership: building a force that is not only capable during conflicts, but prepared before they begin.

Katanga National Army

Katanga's announcement of the founding of their Army.

On 29 July, 2026, the Katanga National Army (KNA) was founded by King Lemon_Pot as the military of Katanga within the Fourth Nubian Empire.

Appointment as General

On the same day, FORDaLoZ joined the KNA, offering to assist in its initial development and future plans. Despite FORDaLoZ’s oversight of the KNA as Head of The Nubian Army - the wider Empire's military force - Lemon_Pot appointed FORDaLoZ as a General.

Citizen Safety Guide

As Minister of Defence, FORDaLoZ consistently focused on protecting not only soldiers, but the wider Nubian population. This approach led to the creation of Nubia's first Citizen Safety Guide, released on 30th July, 2026.

Contents

The guide provided Nubian citizens with information on reducing the risks posed by hunters and hostile players. It included recommendations such as limiting valuable items carried during travel, using invisibility potions to reduce visibility on the live map, carrying essential supplies, and prioritising escape over unnecessary engagements when encountering stronger opponents.

Purpose

The release of the guide expanded the role of The Nubian Army beyond traditional military operations. While the Army remained responsible for defending Nubia during conflicts, the initiative recognised that national security also depended on citizens having the knowledge required to protect themselves.

Kingship of Songhai

Purchase of Songhai

On 11th August, 2026, FORDaLoZ purchased the nation of Songhai for 3,000 gold from its previous leader, Tomadzu. With this, he became King of Songhai, with his close friend Acerse appointed as King alongside him. Hours later, the Kingdom of Songhai joined the Fourth Nubian Empire, becoming the fifth nation within the Nubian mega-nation.

Massacre of Leoville

On 14th August, 2026, The Nubian Army was in a training session when they were alerted that a Nubian town was allegedly under attack. Within one minute, four soldiers — GoldiOwOr, D4ed41us, DLOwOr and felixsgt — alongside FORDaLoZ, stationed themselves invisibly in the underground spawn of the Nubian town Leoville, backed up by two additional Nubian allies, including Grand Bovine MrPickle26 of Nubia.

After MrPickle26 successfully baited the hunter, GovernorAustria1, out of claims and into the wilderness and tagged him, the soldiers emerged up the bubble elevator and instantly engaged in the massacre. GovernorAustria1 died within a minute of the attack taking place, completely unable to fight back against the overwhelming Nubian force.

The operation was an extreme success for The Nubian Army, showing increased response times and the Army’s undying willingness to protect the citizens of the Grand Pasture of Nubia.

Retaliation afterwards

On 15th August, 2026, the day after the original Massacre of Leoville, Nubia awoke to a claimblock town on its capital, Napata, created by the hunter killed the day before - GovernorAustria1 - assumed to be made in retaliation of the events a day prior.

Due to a suspected connection between GovernorAustria1 and The Mafia, a growing group of hunters and town hoppers on Terra Nostra, an attempt was made by The Nubian Army to minimise the potential casualties of Nubian citizens outside Napata. Throughout the day, soldiers were stationed outside the claimblock town to monitor any PvP or otherwise hostile activity.

As a result of the Army’s patrolling, a group of hunters gathered outside Napata with hostile intentions. Accompanied by General Acerse, FORDaLoZ engaged in a fight with the three hunters, as soon as a player’s distraction caused them to unfocus on the Nubian soldiers. Using both mace and sword, FORDaLoZ engaged the two PvPers, macing NoahShan three times in a row and killing him, then critting out EstojoVK until he died too. The third hunter, Emperor of Palestine johnzinnnn, instantly ran, with Acerse unable to chase him in time.

This marked an overwhelming success for Nubia and The Nubian Army, with the Army prevailing in both fights without fail, two days running.

New Army Hub of Operations

Five days after purchasing the nation of Songhai, FORDaLoZ officiated its capital, renamed to New Napata, as the new operations hub of The Nubian Army, replacing Fort Ox. With this, he created a larger armoury within the main building of /n spawn Songhai, fully equipped with all the necessary equipment any soldier of any PvP strategy or ability would need.

With the armoury quickly accessible to players of any nation, this allowed members of The Nubian Army of nations other than Nubia to remain equipped and able to contribute to any missions when called upon.

Battle of New Napata

On 20th August, 2026, an "EMC Mafia" member named elpapito7 placed a trap town four chunks away from Songhai's capital, New Napata, in an attempt to access the heavily restricted land outside of the town to PvP. Later in the day, a large number of Mafia members and their allies gathered outside of New Napata to provoke a fight. The Nubian Army chose to respond, gathering all active soldiers and all available allies in an unprecedented force aimed to help in the conflict. The following people were involved:

The battle lasted for over two hours, beginning at ~19:50PM BST and ending at ~22:000PM BST. There were over 40 deaths, with an estimated 15 being deaths of those with armour. The Nubian Army shortly after declared an irrefutable victory over the Mafia in the conflict, with members of the Mafia such as Sayfoulpe being killed 9 times in the battle, 6 of them being with armour on. Nubia counted 5 geared deaths out of their entire force, only 1 being a soldier.

Operation Artemis

Operation Artemis, carried out successfully on 2 September, 2026, was the name given to the mission carried out by FORDaLoZ on behalf of his nation, Songhai, to establish its first lunar base on Terra Luna. Songhai's capital, New Napata's outpost was created at 16:15 BST, completing the original mission. Throughout the next few days, including "Operation Artemis II" on 4 September, the base was developed into not only an outpost for Songhai but also the centre of command for The Nubian Army's lunar activity.

September Elections

On 7 September, 2026, Nubia announced its September-term government, and FORDaLoZ's win - with 25 of 31 voters choosing him - marked the beginning of his fourth consecutive term as Minister of Defence, and as Nostra Nubia's only MoD as of September.

Battle of Gaza

Initial Skirmish

On 14 September, 2026, the nation of Gaza was established, quickly joining the Fourth Nubian Empire. The activity at Gaza's /n spawn, with many members of Nubia and The Nubian Army present, attracted a hunter called SlyaxCat. Despite the best efforts of the hunter, the threat was squashed swiftly by The Nubian Army, with SlyaxCat returning thrice within a half hour and dying each time.

Army vs. Mafia

After the initial skirmish, the player presence at Gaza only increased, with over 20 players crammed within the relatively small town claims which provoked the arrival of The Mafia. Mafia leaders hamza921 and MarkusAntonyus arrived, alongside Cacik_ (a mafia member), versing Nubian soldiers FORDaLoZ, Acerse and _FrostedMC in the battle. Within minutes, FORDaLoZ and Acerse double-maced Cacik_, killing him. In the following fight, hamza921 was killed by FORDaLoZ, and MarkusAntonyus ran from the battle in cowardice following the deaths of his allies.

Retaliation afterwards

Upon the end of the main battle, Mafia leader hamza921 attempted to turn the tides in the fight, ambushing the under geared Nubian soldiers after a swift re-gear, however he was quickly outnumbered, and he died to Acerse's mace after a lengthy chase through a jungle nearby.

Continuing Development of the Nubian Army

Under FORDaLoZ's ongoing leadership, The Nubian Army continues to develop as one of the central institutions of the Fourth Nubian Empire. From its creation in the early days of Terra Nostra to its modern structure, the Army has evolved from a small defensive organisation into a coordinated military force.

Focusing on organisation, preparation, and cooperation, FORDaLoZ has sought to establish a military culture where soldiers are valued not only for their combat ability but also for their dedication, activity, and willingness to support the nation.

The continued expansion of the Army, improvements to military infrastructure, and development of citizen-focused safety measures reflect FORDaLoZ's broader vision for Nubian defence: a force capable of responding to threats while maintaining stability during periods of peace.
