The First Partition of Pequot

History

The Events Before

(Date and images will be found at a later date. It was around March of 2019) Pequot was a town in Connecticut and was currently in the nation of Iroquois, it was planning on claiming all of Connecticut as that is where the mayor was from. The town had a hollow claim of most of Connecticut and start to claim onto Manhattan.

The NorthEastern Alliance

The NorthEastern Alliance was a town alliance between most of the states in New England, New Brunswick, and the Saint Lawrence region. It aimed to keep all the towns in the region at peace. So they decided to make a border treaty with Pequot and New York. The Borders were neatly drawn out and the border treaty was accepted.

The Partition

Lucas2011 (the current mayor of New York) decided that he wanted to expand New York, so he called a mod. He got most of Pequot's hollow claim removed. Only leaving the bare bones of Pequot left. This outraged Pequot and Iroquois as a whole.

Controversy

Hollow Claim

Lucas2011 was stating that Hollow Claims are a form of Claim Blocking even though New York had numerous Hollow Claims at the time.

The Staff

When the Staff tried to say that RedNewt33 (Mayor of Pequot) was not using the land, RedNewt stated that his town was mainly underground, when he said this the staff replied and told him that, that is not how you make a town.

Aftermath

RedNewt received the gold back from the land that was removed, so RedNewt33 claim more land, this time there was barely any hollow claiming. This was sadly removed in The Second Partition of Pequot.
