Dakar People's Assembly (Nova)

Overview

The Dakar's People Assembly, or the People's Assembly of Dakar, was one of the first democratic experiments in Africa, being the legislative body for Dakar.

Politics

The People's Assembly is composed of a joint board of members appointed by the Mayor of Dakar, and Speaker of the Assembly, PolkadotBlueBear on advice of other Members of the Assembly.

The First Assembly was founded the day Dakar was founded by the original members, all sharing power. Their main achievements were building and claiming Old Dakar, and the Fort.
