The nation of Wales, officially the Kingdom of Wales, is a nation which currently controls lands from the River Severn to the Irish Sea with several Exclaves around the region of England
Wales under the United Kingdom
The region of Wales, broadly following the real-life region of Wales, was originally fully under the control of the United Kingdom, although there were no British towns before the creation of Anglesey, the UK still claimed this land.
Originally the foundation of Wales was only considered if the circumstances allowed for a self sustained nation, while remaining as part of the United Kingdom for as long as possible to benefit from the nation bonus and also to stay as a part of the larger UK community
First signs of Problems
Nation of "Chuds"
After just one day in the United Kingdom's discord, the players in Anglesey realized that majority of UK's leadership and mayors are predominantly right-wing and ideologically opposed to the views of the Anglesey leadership.
This realization is one of the reasons why the creation of Wales was sped up.
Welsh Regional Discord
On the 8th of May under the pretext of connecting Welsh mayors in the region (Anglesey, Aberystwyth, Britannia) to work on common projects and promote interaction, the discord under the name "Wales" was created to which the mayors of Welsh towns, who already subscribed to the idea of independent Wales, were invited.
Purchase of Cardiff
On the 17th of May the town of Cardiff went for sale, as the town is the real-life capital of Wales. The Interim Welsh Round Table agreed that it is necessary to obtain the town for potential leverage over the United Kingdom, especially as they were one of the bidding parties.
Return of Ybrk
Along with the purchase of Cardiff came the need to place a trustworthy mayor into the town. At that time, a retired EMC player, Ybrk, was considering joining Nostra. She was previously in the same nation as majority of the Int. Round Table on Nova and had experience running a large town, so she was an obvious pick as the mayor of the arguably most important town in the Welsh region.
Expansion of Pro-Welsh towns
After the Purchase of Cardiff the towns in the region of Wales starting expanding in anticipation of creation of Wales and the possible claimblock that might come from the leadership UK.
Additionally on the 1st of June two new pro-Welsh towns of Llansanffraid and Rhyl were created by TrapDane and Fjolnir05 to secure land from a new town of The_New_Order in the region which seemed to be mainly a base for a Neo-Nazi PvP group. This group was later pressured into leaving the region, disbanding their town on the 5th of June.
UK Elections
In an attempt to gain more regional representation, and to potentially gain the ability to maliciously kick every town out of the UK. The group in Wales successfully won the UK's 1st Government elections, with Fjolnir05 as its Prime Minister.
While the cover was representation, Fjolnir05 never received the nation rank of Chancellor, which hindered the Welsh plan to kick every UK town upon the creation of Wales.
Now as another reason why Welsh mayors wanted to make an independent nation, the royal family shutdown a simple government proposal to change the UK discord icon to a more neutral one from one with a woman in a hijab in front of the Union Jack, which was apparently used as a "inside joke".
To add to the Welsh Failures, Fjolnir05 was banned for Xray two days after becoming the PM putting the final nail in the coffin of Welsh Chancellor plans.
Creation of Wales
After every plan to gain power in the UK failed, Welsh mayors finally decided to create the nation of Wales on the 27th of June with Tet0mania as its leader and Anglesey as its capital.
This prompted an immediate reaction in an ongoing #wales ticket in UK Discord where basic facts were exchanged and a rough border agreement was proposed. Both sides were not willing to budge on their stance for the coming days which climaxed after the replacement PM thebaiblade made a secret nation announcement urging UK towns to expand in the direction of Welsh claims, which at this point were in dispute.
Claimblock by the UK
After the PM announcement the leadership of Wales reasonably began to question UK's intentions in the region, before getting a reasonable answer the then mayor of Canterbury, Geovian, promptly kicked all of them from the ticket, essentially ending the ongoing negotiations and preventing the Round Table members from using the chat as evidence in the future.
Following the Removal of Welsh players from the ticket, the UK leadership sent out Geovian and SmokeyMcbongy to create two claimblock towns in Welsh-claimed lands.
Wales + UK groupchat
On the 30th of June both parties agreed to host a voice chat to possibly negotiate a new border agreement, now with UK owning two claimblock towns as leverage. These negotiations ultimately resulted in a temporary ceasefire. Which lasted less than a week, before Geovian's infamous crashout on the 3rd of July which was documented in this video. His crashout resulted in the unclaiming of few chunks by Cardiff. The talks fell through after Geovian left the group chat on the 5th of July.
The New Normal
The claimblock towns of Welsh and Farm were removed on the 13th of August by AndrewKase, this meant the end of hostile UK presence in Welsh territory. Which is seen in Wales as achievement of peace in the region.

30th of August marks the day when both Eire and Wales made their mark on the moon as part of the space race, collectively ending third due to European tps not being in their favor.

The Brenin (currently Brenhines) is the figurehead of the Round Table and acts as the nation's foreign representative.
Round Table
Round Table is the Welsh equivalent of an unelected Parliament, these Members draft and propose legislation to be voted on by other members, vote on alliances and most importantly on new Round Table members.
