Agrabah (also known as the City of Onions) is the capital city of the Kingdom of Sumer. A notable tourist destination, Agrabah is known for being a diverse city, with 20+ nationalities represented across the world. The city also features a unique onion dome skyline and architectural style, blending Moorish, Roman, Hausmann and Aladdin elements into the buildings. The city is divided into several districts, which were developed in phases from May 2026.

Beyond its city boundaries; there are satellite towns surrounding that form the Greater Agrabah Metropolitan Area (GAMA). These include:

Culture

Agrabah’s culture reflects the mix of nationalities that live in the city, and many languages are heard in its streets. Rooftops are popular hangout spots, and rooftop venues such as the Milkyway Mangrove Rooftop Club are at the center of its nightlife. In Old Agrabah, colorful clothes are draped across the streets, especially along Aladeen Avenue, to represent the pride of Agrabah. The city is built around being inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds.

Architecture

Many buildings in Agrabah are topped with onion domes, which gave the city its nickname. The Moorish style appears on many buildings throughout the city, and was first used in the Villa of Arson-Gyutare.

Demographics

Agrabah and its surrounding towns have a mix of communities from different countries:

  • French community: a notable French community lives mainly in Aaru and Ur, the southern towns of the Greater Agrabah Province.
  • Indonesian community: centered in Agrabah Oud. Many of its members are Andakira’s real-life friends, known as the “Old Guard”.
