Overview

The Caspian State Museums is a collection of Museums and a Library in the Caspian State government buildings in Alania. The Collections are mostly held in the basement of the Palace of Ministers.

Visible Collections

Library

The Library is the oldest of the collections and includes over twenty books. Collection is eclectic and many are available to be copied and read. The Library also has done book-shares with the Libraries in The_Mirage (The Grand Chagos Library) and in Carrasco.

This collection is all banners found, usually in ruins, of towns and nation. Continually growing as people add more banners.

Map Collection

Collection started as maps of all areas with Alanian claims, but after a robbery and a move from the old map hall to the Caspian State Museum more and more maps from all over the world started to get added. The maps of Alanian lands are still there, while also included are some historical maps and two massive maps of entire continents. One of them being a near-complete map of Australia and another a work-in-progress map of Antarctica.

War Collection

The War collection is the smallest and is weapons, material, and gear won by the Caspian States in battles and set up to display them as trophies of the Caspian State.

Zoological Collection

Under Construction, was suppose to hold a Polar Bear but that died in transit.

Closed Collections

Governmental Records

This collection is non-accessible unless granted permission but retain all the diplomatic statements send and received by the Caspian State (and a few from Caucasia also). Also included are the votes from every election and important foreign policy books only for the most important in the government.

History

The Caspian State Museums 5 collections all had different starts. The Library was one of the eldest and provided reading material for the citizens of Alania back in the Alola days. The Banner collection was started even earlier as when raiding PolkadotBlueBear came across some banners and kept them. The Map collection was the idea of SuperHappyBros, who mapped and built the original map hall (now demolished after greif attack). The maps were popular and when they were robbed, replaced and the collection continually expanded. The War collection is insignificant and very new, few wars fought so few items. The Zoological collection has been planned for some time, but routinely sees problems with acquiring the needed specimens. The Governmental Records collection was split from the Library once elections started happening to keep the votes secret.

-Donations to any of the Collections is always appreciated!
