Emperor of Ethiopia (current)
The Emperor of Ethiopia known as the Negusa Nagast is a "hereditary" position in the Ethiopian Empire, established to lead and expand the nation and to ensure control over the colonies of the Empire. The position of Negusa Nagast has been held by several prominent Ethiopians.
The Emperor has full control of the government and can dismiss / replace any cabinet position in the Crown Council including the Prime Minister. The Emperor also decides the foreign policy of the nation. This total control of the nation has been debated and opposed by several current and former government members.
Style
The official title of Emperor is Negusa Nagast but, the position is mostly referred to by the English translation; King of Kings (Emperor). King was also used but not as frequently.
