History

Founding

Gisborne was founded on the 20/07/2020 by a player of the same name, on the same day a small spawn was built with a few signs and a Bob Ross map art. Later into the day, an embassy was founded in the town of Taupo, a Nether Portal was built and a shop was established.

Town Hall

A large town hall was constructed on the 22/07/2020 with large glass windows, overhangs and a large cobblestone wall. This was after the third plot was purchased.

Population Growth

From a period after the building of the town hall, there has been large population growth and a large increase in the number of chunks. In this same period 64 Gold was dropped after one of the members of the town died, henceforth a park was built in the Gold's memorial.

Population Decline

After the leader of the town became inactive because of a Holiday they had plans, the population slowly decreased to one after the only other two people in Gisborne left for Egypt and started a town together.

A New Spark

Around the start of November, a few changes were going on in and around the town of Gisborne, an old resident had moved back after the collapse of their old town, the town was renamed to Gisborne (previously named Porbei).
