His Majesty Great Kaiser Leontan I of Habsburg is a player who led the Austro-Hungarian Empire from its formation on December 31, 2023 until his abdication on February 13, 2024. Before the unification of Austria and Hungary into a single state, Leontan was the Emperor of Austria.
During the reign of Leontan I, Austria-Hungary became one of the largest and strongest countries in the world. It consisted of Austria, Hungary, Romania, Montenegro, Switzerland, Baltic, Estonia, Russia, Prussia, Europe, South Russia, Primorye and Wrangel. Leontan managed to form a state apparatus, create a powerful state and make Austria-Hungary one of the most favorable countries for life. Thus, thanks to his social reforms, every resident received the legal right to housing and state support. His reforms in the sphere of state power created the Cabinet of Ministers, the Reichsrat and gave the provinces of Austria-Hungary autonomy. He also made a significant contribution to the development of culture in Austria-Hungary: the role of religion in the lives of citizens increased, and his own fine arts and literature appeared. The period of the reign of Leontan I in Austria-Hungary has been called the Golden Age of Austria-Hungary.
Biography
Origin. Church service
The exact origin of Leontan is still unknown. According to most opinions, he is the illegitimate son of the first and last King of Yugoslavia, Saint Elgik. For the first time, Leontan declared himself on December 18, 2023, starting his journey around the world. He was inspired by the Roman Catholic Church and made a pilgrimage from Paris to Rome, after which he went to Belgrade, where he visited the Church of St. Elgik.
After this trip, he decides to start the Orthodox mission of the Roman Church in the Far East and sends it to Wrangel Island. On December 19, 2023, Father Leontan founded the Ivano-Voznesensky Monastery on Wrangel Island and laid the stone of the first building on the island of the Church of St. Nicholas. On the same day, he receives a blessing from Pope Pius XIII. On December 21, Father Leontan completes the construction of the Church of St. Nicholas and consecrates it. Inside he placed the relics of St. Elgik, a Russian-language prayer book and Orthodox icons.
On the island, Leontan built fortress walls, the Spassky Gate and several residential buildings, including a city estate.
Kaiser of Austria-Hungary
On December 30, 2023, Leontan renounced church service and became Emperor of the Austrian Empire. When Leontan accepted Austria, it was in absolute decline: demographic crisis, economic decline, foreign policy problems and stagnation. On December 31, 2023, Leontan signed a unification treaty with Hungary (Treaty of Orleans) and became Kaiser of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In his New Year's address, he stated:
«The New Year 2024 is coming in different parts of our planet. We always try to celebrate this sacred holiday and spend it with people close to us, in our home. This date has long been magical, storing real magic in itself. We can make wishes that always come true. It only takes a little effort.
I want to tell you an important news. Today, the King of Hungary and I have decided to unite. Starting tomorrow, we are a great united state. The era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire begins. We will continue to serv our God, our people and our great empire!».
On January 1, 2024, Kaiser Leontan began his reforms. First of all, he launched the renovation of Wien. According to his project, it was planned to completely rebuild the city. Leontan believed that Wien did not look like the capital of a great power. However, during the reign of Leontan, only one block was demolished and completely rebuilt, as well as a small block was built north of St. Stephen's Cathedral.
On January 6, 2024, Leontan's coronation took place. Pope Pius XIII first consecrated St. Stephen's Cathedral, and then crowned the monarch. It was the first coronation in the world to be broadcast live, as well as the first coronation in the history of Austria and Hungary. In his coronation speech, Kaiser Leontan declared that he would make Austria-Hungary a world power and subjugate the territories of Eastern Europe, uniting them under the flag of Austria-Hungary.
On the same day, Kaiser Leontan announced the accession of Romania to Austria-Hungary, which led to the outbreak of the Romanian Civil War, as some representatives of the country's political elite did not agree with the inclusion of Romania into Austria-Hungary and announced the creation of Wallachia. By order of Leontan, the construction of a defensive wall, popularly called the Second Berlin Wall, began along the entire border of Brasov. At the same time, Leontan began to strengthen relations with neighboring countries. Agreements were concluded with the Kingdom of Serbia and Savoy, Austria-Hungary's position in the HRE was strengthened, and Austria-Hungary began to draw closer to France and the Netherlands.
After his coronation, Leontan continued his reforms. On January 22, he formed the Cabinet of Ministers of Austria-Hungary, and on January 25 he convened the first composition of the Reichsrat of Austria-Hungary. In parallel, Leontan began social reforms. He legally secured the right of subjects to provide housing and material support.
During the reign of Leontan, Austria-Hungary became one of the largest countries in the world. After the accession of Romania, it included Estonia, Russia, Primorye, Wrangel, Switzerland, Montenegro, Prussia, Europe, South Russia and Baltic. Leontan also contributed to the support of business in Austria-Hungary. During his reign, such large holdings as Gold Holding LTD and Kanzler Holding appeared. Austro-Hungarian casinos and shops were located all over the world. He also actively supported the development of small businesses and industry. So, during his reign, the largest industrial enterprises engaged in the production of agricultural products, potions and armor appeared in Brasov and Windau.
