Manicouagan County is a county in the Republic of Cascadia, located largely in Quebec. It was established following the peaceful and voluntary annexation of the independent Republic of Manicouagan into the Republic of Cascadia. It is bordered by the independent Republic of Vermont to the south. It has a population of 96, and the seat is FA. It is one of the most populous counties in Cascadia, and is represented in the House of Representatives by the Great North electoral division.
History
Manicouagan County was founded on August 9th, 2025, pursuant to the Tributary Treaty, the document outlining the merge between the Republic of Manicouagan, the nation which Manicouagan County is named after, and the Republic of Cascadia.
Government and Laws
Manicouagan County follows all laws of the national government of Cascadia. The county government is governed by the Counties Act, the Home Rule Act, the Home Rule Adjustment Act, and its own charter, known as the Manicouagan County Charter, which outlines its internal government. The Tributary Treaty, which was what led to the creation of Manicouagan County, also permitted Manicouagan County to keep some of the Republic of Manicouagan's laws as county ordinances, which Manicouagan County also follows.

Treaties
The Tributary Treaty allows the Manicouagan County to retain all NAPs signed by the Republic of Manicouagan while it was a nation but does not allow Manicouagan County to keep its mutual defense alliance. The treaty also does not allow Manicouagan County to make any new treaties or foreign policy. FA Spawn Building
Right at /t spawn FA is a beautiful shop building made with walls of moss and green concrete powder, majestic deepslate pillars and a textured spruce roof. All these features and more make it an appealing spawn building for the town
Aurelian Archives
Within Fort Aurelian, there is a building known as the Aurelian Archives. This building, meant to display diverse history, was built by spirtualmilk, who was commissioned by MasterEWild.. The building serves as a museum of Fort Aurelian, cataloging its history.
Laurentian Museum
In Fort Aurelian, there is a museum dedicated to the former nation of Laurentia, striving to keep Laurentia's history alive.
Torngat Museum
Fort Aurelian also holds a museum dedicated to the history of the former nation of Torngat, Laurentia's ally. The museum has artifacts, books and maps found in the ruins of the capital of Torngat.
Manicouagan Museum
Within FA, there is a museum dedicated to the Manicouagan nation, preserving it's history.
County Gear and Resource Reserve
Under the building holding the Laurentian Museum is the National Gear Reserve which holds gear given to Manicouagan County residents for free if they meet certain requirements. To get down to the room, you must ride a redstone elevator. The same building also houses the County's Resource Reserve, a similar program which holds resources like blocks and items instead of armor.
Fort Aurelian Underground
Though not a building, Fort Aurelian contains a mystical and nature themed underground, adding to the town's overall atmosphere
Thornvale Skyscraper
At Thornvale's spawn there's a large skyscraper, made mostly of white blocks.
Mistissini Spawn
Mistissini spawn building uniquely incorporates hay bales into the building, giving it a distinct vibe
Aquille Reserve
Though not a building, the Aquille Reserve in Purest Pines area manages to blend a history filled nature reserve into a big city, giving it a uniquely cozy vibe
