Zgrift123
Zgrift is an EarthMC player, builder and politician affiliated with the Volkov Family. Throughout his history on EarthMC, he has held several political positions, founded and administered towns, and played a major role in the independence of Albany and the establishment of the Kingdom of Borneo during Terra Aurora. Following the reset, he participated in the reconstruction of Albany and later founded New Atlanta in Georgia during Terra Nostra.

Timor
Zgrift founded the nation of Timor alongside his brother, dannydonato_, with the assistance of kyro95 and antipatjco. Following political disputes, dannydonato_ betrayed Zgrift and carried out a coup, resulting in the transfer of power to kyro95.
Timor eventually fell and was later succeeded by the Annam Empire, ruled by Weirdbutgud09.
Terra Aurora History
Early history
Zgrift spawned in Mongolia on July 15, 2022, before travelling to Sicily and subsequently becoming a resident of New York. Initially working as a hunter, he eventually decided to establish a nation of his own, leading to the foundation of Timor.
Following political upheaval in Timor, Zgrift temporarily left the region. He later returned to EarthMC and became a resident of La Mecca, an Arabian town, before moving to Adrar, a Malian town.
On January 24, 2023, Zgrift returned to his former ally, Albany, where he participated in the city's wars and political affairs. He subsequently became the mayor of the Kalimantano district.
On May 10, 2023, he became Caesar of Kalimantano, and on June 12, 2023, he was appointed Councillor of Albany.
Albany and the independence movement
Following his appointment as councillor, Zgrift began taking a more active role in the administration and development of Albany. He initiated new projects and financed the development of the autonomous district of Catville, contributing to the city's continued growth.
Following the transition of the mayoralty from BattingSine396 to Aggamer, a scandal emerged shortly after Aggamer had staged his own death. In the ensuing political turmoil, AdrianVolkov briefly assumed the mayoralty before transferring power to LogolWaffle.
This period marked a turning point in the history of both Albany and Zgrift. Conmqn, Emperor of Indochina, sought to restrict Albany's autonomy, prompting the city to pursue independence. The ensuing conflict resulted in the proclamation of the Kingdom of Borneo, with LogolWaffle becoming its first king.
Presidency of the Kingdom of Borneo
Following independence, a constitution was established that divided the executive leadership between two offices: the King, serving as head of state, and the President, serving as head of government.
Zgrift entered national politics and ran for the presidency under the Liberals of Albany party. He won the election against his political opponent, Dqrk, becoming president of the newly established kingdom.
During his presidency, Zgrift undertook a broad programme of political and administrative reform. He reorganised parliament, appointed several ministers to improve the administration of the country, established diplomatic agreements with regional powers and revitalised political activity throughout the kingdom.
One of his most significant military and diplomatic achievements was the conquest of Eastern and Northern Borneo. These victories forced Indochina to sign the Treaty of 8Set, which established mutual recognition of sovereignty and formalised territorial agreements on the island.
Reign and development of Borneo
Following his presidency, LogolWaffle adopted Zgrift into the royal Volkov Family and subsequently transferred the crown to him. Zgrift thus became King of Borneo.
During his reign, he reformed the district of Knollwood and financed the establishment and development of several settlements across the island. Among these were Serentina and Pinecrest, both of which would soon develop into major towns.
His reign was also marked by increasing tensions with the Dutch, whose presence on Borneo threatened the kingdom's territorial security.
War against Sebangau
Tensions between Borneo and the Dutch eventually escalated into open warfare when Dutch forces attacked Guring, a town protected by the Bornean Crown, and razed it to the ground.
After an ultimatum was rejected, Zgrift ordered an attack on Sebangau, the Dutch side's principal metropolis on the island. The attack initiated a war that would last approximately a year and a half.
The conflict expanded as foreign powers intervened. Pilbara joined the war on Sebangau's side, while Nubia supported Borneo after Zgrift agreed to make Borneo one of the nations within the Nubian Empire.
Despite the kingdom's efforts, Bornean forces suffered numerous defeats against Sebangau. Faced with the deteriorating military situation, Zgrift decided to relinquish the crown and return it to LogolWaffle.
He subsequently withdrew from the royal government to concentrate on his own district, which he renamed Alboria, replacing its former name, Kalimantano.
However, the war eventually reached Alboria itself, and the district was conquered, bringing an end to Zgrift's control over the territory.
Terra Nostra History
Reconstruction of Albany
Following the EarthMC reset, Zgrift decided to rebuild Albany alongside LogolWaffle in Newfoundland, Canada. Their objective was to establish a new version of Albany and contribute to the creation of a nation in the region.
However, Zgrift became dissatisfied with the project's progress as much of the city's population remained inactive. In response, he left Newfoundland and emigrated to America, settling in Chicago, where he worked as a builder.
New Atlanta
After approximately one month in Chicago, Zgrift decided to reunite with his former Terra Aurora allies from Sulawesi. He travelled to Georgia, in Asia, where he founded the city of New Atlanta.
New Atlanta grew steadily and developed positive relations with neighbouring cities. These relations extended to settlements belonging to Iberia, a state that had been at war with Georgia since the beginning of the reset.
Zgrift's efforts in New Atlanta marked a new phase in his EarthMC career, shifting his focus from the territorial conflicts of Terra Aurora towards city development, diplomacy and regional administration.
Political career in Georgia
In September 2026, Zgrift became a representative in Georgia. The following month, in October 2026, he joined the council, marking his return to formal political office during Terra Nostra.
His appointment reflected his continued involvement in the governance and development of his new home after the reset.
