The nation of Senegal was founded by PolkadotBlueBear on May 21 2019 after internal changes to the nation of Mauritania.
History
Founding
Senegal was founded after Mauritania was transferred to Dakar on May 21 2019. As Mauritania was a dying nation before PolkadotBlueBear decided to reorganize it, and have it based in a more southern location of Dakar than it previously was in Laayoune. Because of that the nation was renamed to Senegal to better suit the location.
Early History
Government
Senegal has a complex government, with an executive-legislative branch called the Executive Directorate, and a legislative-judicial branch called the Council.
Senegal is primarily run by the Directorate, which includes as members all the highly important people in the nation. The Directorate members all share power but with the titular head of the Directorate being the mayor of the capital city of Senegal, at the present time PolkadotBlueBear of Dakar. The head of the Directorate is styled as First Director of Senegal. Each member of the Directorate is styled as Director. The Directorate has near unlimited powers and each member of the Directorate may act as they see fit for the best interests of the nation but it is advised the Directors discuss their plans with each other to provide better service to Senegal.
