Aurora:Denali
Denali is a township settled by player GoodolCaz on the 8th of September, 2023. Located in the heart of Alaska, it is a member of the Yukon nation, however closely based near Alaska's capital, Fairbanks. Denali's name refers to a town from the Terra Nova server of the same name, which also was a member of the Terra Nova's Yukon nation.

Early History
Founded in early September of 2023, Denali was first founded between the path of Fairbanks, Alaska to the East and Scatland & Ruby, Kuskokwim Mountains to the West. The first night of the town's existence was important as Denali joined the nation of Yukon, with a special visit from the Queen of Yukon, Tuzzzie, to welcome the town to the nation. Denali was founded in the center of a grazzy plain which resides South of the Yukon River. The town would later expand north over the river, but for the first night, a deepslate platform was constructed to form a solid floor for the first building to be constructed. Soon after, the first official building, the Denali Town Hall was constructed, and used as a base by GoodolCaz for the first several nights until he saved up enough gold to claim more land. After being outside his own town's boundaries, GoodolCaz was ambushed by a hit-and-runner, inconveniently after pulling a trident from the vote crate just minutes beforehand. Just hours later, the Queen paid a visit and generously gifted GoodolCaz a sum of gold (54) to make up some reparations for the lost loot.
Denali's history is incredibly short, however there is history in locations amongst the town. Innucisai Square is the main park in Denali, home to the town bank and Innucisai Tower. The name Innucisai refers again to another Terra Nova town of the same name, which Mayor GoodolCaz was apart of in 2019. Andamooka Boulevarde is the town's main street, passing by the Denali Town Hall, community farm and the Mayor's residence. Andamooka is a real-life town located in Central-South Australia which the mayor grew up.
Just west of Denali lies an unnamed ruin of a town. It is defined by its stone walls encompassing the town, with around eight or so buildings within. It is connected to the road between Fairbanks and Scatland, and lies less than 100 meters away from Denali.
Government
On the 29th of September, 2023, GoodolCaz applied to become a Representative of Yukon. On the 1st of October, he was awarded the Representative role as no competitive applicants had applied to force a vote.
Buildings and Architecture
Historic Buildings
There are a few notable buildings within the township of Denali, most notably Innucisai Tower. Standing at 32m tall from the floor to the top balcony, it is used as a town outpost to notify residents of any danger. The town bank was constructed in September of 2023 by the mayor in order to relocate the makeshift bank used in the town hall. The town hall is the first building ever constructed in the township of Denali, on the 9th September, 2023. It is described as a rectangle barn with an oak plank roof, and deepslate and stone brick walls. The next month, the town hall received a renovation, tripling the size and more than doubling the height, it now resembles more of a castle than a village structure, with a flagpole reaching 63m above the ground, flying the Denali town flag proud. A town library was constructed to the west of Innucisai Tower in order to increase public attraction to the town and for residents to have free access to resources such as enchantments and information about the city. Donation of books to the library is encouraged and greatly appreciated.
Yukon Malamute
The Yukon Malamute is a statue located in the centre of Innucisai Square in Denali. It was constructed in September of 2023. Based on the Alaskan Malamute native to the region, the statue is said to encapsulate the fighting spirit of the Denalian and Yukoners. It faces East, towards the city of Teslin, the capital of Yukon, because of the commemortion to the city.
Denali Ice Highway Station
On the 25th of September, 2023, GoodolCaz constructed a platform which would rise to an ice highway that runs east-west to Fairbanks. The structure existed prior to Denali's founding, so taking advantage of pre-existing infrastructure was important for the town to gain exposure to nearby settlements. Underneath the station is completely encased in water, solely for cosmetic purposes. The structure is located on the North side of the Yukon River, at the end of Andamooka Boulevarde.
GoodolCaz's Helix Skyscraper
In late September of 2023, GoodolCaz constructed the foundation of a plaza just behind the town hall, promising to construct a large building to attract passerby and Yukon tourists. Early the next month, a 50m tall skyscraper was constructed, characterised by its deepslate and glass exterior, it dominates the sky and is viewable across the entire town, including the spawn region. The building is shaped as a large glass cylinder, with spiral staircases with a view that reach the top of the building in style. The building is named GoodolCaz's Helix Skyscraper to due to its resemblence to the double-helix shape within DNA and named after the builder of the skyscraper itself. To this day, the construction is yet to finish and its purpose at this stage is unknown, however plans to make a small shop available will be considered.
Denali Recycle™
Denali hosts its own recycle centre, used to allow players to get rid of unwanted items in their inventory and chests, so they may be put to good use. Denali Recycle™ is the fake company ran by GoodolCaz to encourage players to not waste items by simply dropping them in lava or on the ground. The headquarters are located in the Southwest portion of Denali, neighbouring the town library and GoodolCaz's Helix Skyscraper. The architecture of this building is a visual outlier compared to other buildings in the town, due to the abundance of green concrete on the site. To get rid of your rubbish, please drop by to the back of the recycle trucks, and drop any unwanted items into the hoppers. All of the items will be put to great use!
Architecture
The town's streets are characterised by the thick stone brick paths bordered with deepslate bricks that cover the entire span of the chunk. A large amount of the buildings in Denali are characterised by Spruce and stone structures bordered with brown wood trim with the body of stone and planks. There are streams of lanterns and Azalea leaves in Innucisai Square, which hang from the major buildings and is said to symbolise love, strength and good luck to the town.
