History
The Doria Family, founded on July 27, 2022, by its Patrician Erwinnn, is the oldest, wealthiest, and one of the most powerful noble families in the Most Serene Republic of Genoa. Established in the republic’s capital, the family has played a crucial role in shaping Genoa’s economy and politics. Heavily invested in trade, building, and politics, the Doria Family also operates the republic’s sole lending institution by its banker Sevenplan, providing financial support in times of need. The family is also responsible for many of the territorial expansions within the republic thanks to its wealthy merchant 32Andrew Doria, often supplying gold to acquire towns or aid in their expansions. It was responsible in the unification of southern Italy under Genoese rule, ensuring the republic's dominance in the region. Additionally, the family manages the national shop of Genoa and its casino. The family has produced Genoa’s longest leading Doges, Erwinnn and 32Andrew.
The family's head, Erwinnn Doria, is also the Oracle of the republic’s state religion, The Order of the Golden Sun. As Oracle, he wields supreme power within the faith, overseeing its doctrines and guiding the spiritual life of the nation.

The Doria Family's ancestral land is the capital city of the republic, Genoa. As such, the family’s headquarters are located in the capital, housed in the grand Castello Doria (Doria Castle), a proud fortress built in a blend of medieval and Renaissance architecture. This massive stronghold serves as the seat of power for the Doria Family, alongside the Palazzo Del Podestà (Podestà’s Palace), from which the family governs Genoa. Patrician Erwinnn Doria is responsible for the development of the family's ancestral land.
Beyond the capital, the Doria Family holds various fiefs across the republic. Sardinia is governed by Erwinnn Doria, Lecce by Sevenplan Doria, and Tripoli by Chancellor_Stat Doria, each playing a vital role in expanding the family's influence and wealth.
