History

Prior to the Treaty of Union

The United Kingdom began as a small nation on the British Isles, founded by RandovMan in July 2022. It was later sold to the North Sea Republic and subsequently suppressed.

Although the idea of an independent British state persisted quietly throughout NSR rule, it gained traction after the dissolution of the NSR in September 2024. Early discussions had surfaced during the merging of two towns—Britain (later London) and Auresco—led by Joigrama and others. Initially dismissed as a joke, the idea began to take a more serious shape during periods of inactivity in the NSR.

Several short-lived plans to revive a British nation were attempted, often through small group discussions or informal plots, none of which came to fruition due to internal disagreements or shifting alliances. In mid-2024, a more structured plan known as Project UK emerged, spearheaded by Joigrama and a few collaborators. The goal was to establish an independent United Kingdom while maintaining peace with the NSR. Despite complications such as regional unrest and conflict, the plan gained momentum.

Eventually, the collapse of the 85th Government of the North Sea Republic left the isles without central leadership. This power vacuum allowed for the rise of new states, and the United Kingdom finally emerged again as an independent nation.

Treaty of Union

Joigrama and bubisen sign the Treaty of Union.

On September 3rd, 2024, English Prime Minister Joigrama and King bubisen of Scotland came together to sign the Treaty of Union, uniting the two nations and forming the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. maplesen would become the first occupant of the unified throne of Great Britain, and designating the English Parliament as a unified one that would continue its duties over the entirety of the new nation.

The Glorious Revolution

The Glorious Revolution was the deposition of the bubisen regime in February 2025, leading to the rise of the House of Wessex under His Majesty King Tacitvs.

Following King Tacitvs' accession and his acquisition of the capital, this began a sweeping transformation across the United Kingdom. Towns throughout the realm aligned with the new monarchy, and those opposing the shift were bought out. The former Patriarch of the West Indies, King Tacitvs, re-established and revitalised the Christian identity in the British Isles, including commissioning the reconstruction of the EarthMC Church's British diocese, which had long been defunct.

Since the Revolution, the United Kingdom has grown into the dominant power in the British Isles, unifying more territory than at any prior point in its history. London continues to develop as the Kingdom's capital, and a new constitution granted by the Crown has established the nation under a consultative parliamentary system.
