Conservative National Committee (Classic)
Official National Conservatism Document
National Conservatism is a broad system of political beliefs that focuses on constitutionalism, individualism, free-trade, capitalism, and moral absolutism. Perceived threats can be posed by communism, authoritarianism, forced assimilation, and certain traits that go against democracy. National Conservatism rejects aristocratic and monarchical type governments and upholds principles of basic human rights, as well as freedoms that the government gives to the People.
Economy
Capitalism is the core foundation of an efficient economic system. All businesses should be owned privately in their own nation with little to no government interference.
A capitalistic society should be based off of these principals:
- The creation of wealth is the concern of private individuals, not the government.
- Individuals must own private property and resources used to create wealth
- Economic freedom ensures the existence of competitive markets that allow both sellers and buyers to enter and leave the market as they choose.
- The role of the government should be limited to providing defense against foreign enemies, ensuring internal order, and furnishing public works and education.
Civilization and Society
All citizens should be held responsible for their own actions. Laws are enacted to reflect the best interest of the society as a whole. Citizens should be proud and grateful for the nation that they’re in.
Religion
Religion shouldn’t be censored by the public or government by any means. Religion is a basic right that every individual entitled to.
Citizenship
All individuals should go through an intensive screening process to ensure the safety of the citizens. All individuals looking for citizenship should expect to pay taxes, contribute to the community, and be self reliant.
Government
The government should have little to no interference to individuals or businesses. The government should do anything in their best efforts to protect and uphold rights of their citizens. Low or no taxes should be implemented to improve the standard of living to individuals and businesses.
It is not in the government's best interest to support a clearly flawed organization. The government should keep their militia (or military) under their name and solely under their control.
Military
A government should focus on funding military and other such programs that will protect their nation from domestic and foreign attacks. It is also in the people’s best interests to arm themselves as a united front against any aggressor.
Foreign Affairs
A nation should focus on improving their own selves by their own interests. It is not one’s obligation to solely support another nation without any compensation.
