Donkeyism
Founding of Donkeyism / Ass-ism.
On July 19th, 2021, the one-year anniversary of the founding of the city of Suna, player 32Soup sat upon a Donkey named "Cleetus" following the festival celebrating Suna's anniversary. The Donkey levitated and began walking on water while player 32Soup sat on Cleetus. 32Soup and many of the players nearby then created Donkeyism in response to what they alleged was "a miracle". 32Soup was unanimously elected as the "Holy Taint" of Donkeyism, and the core tenets of the Donkeyist faith were made during the Convention of Suna. Player Corsair_11's pool, which was where the religion was founded, was declared a holy site, and all of the water within was declared "Holy Ass Water" by the Holy Taint 32Soup. The founding members were baptized in the pool shortly after.
The Key Tenets Of Donkeyism.
- The name of the Messiah figure, Cleetus, must not be used inappropriately.
- Adherents are not allowed to kill other members of the Church unless sanctioned by a Church authority or the other party involved.
- Adherents are not allowed to steal from other members of the Church.
- In order for one to officially rise up in the ranks of the Church, believers must be baptized in the Holy Ass Pool in Suna while an official Donkeyist priest instructs the believer in the doctrine of the Church.
- The only way to get into the Donkeyist afterlife, the Great Stable, is to "pray to ass" every night.
- Adherents are not allowed to lie with Anti-Asses.
Church Ranks
Ass Priest- Religious officials of the Donkeyist faith that represent the doctrine of the Church in the cities and towns of EarthMC.
Ass Bishop- Religious officials of the Donkeyist faith that have control of a nation's church property.
Ass Cardinal- Religious officials of the Donkeyist faith that have control of a continent's church property.
Holy Taint- The head of the Donkeyist religion. The elected Ass Pop controls all church property within the server and can nominate Ass Cardinals, though other Ass Cardinals have to agree on this.
