FranchuFranchu

FranchuFranchu is an EarthMC player who belongs to the mega-nation La Plata. He builds ice roads, is bad at PVP and the foreign affairs minister of La Plata. He is a devout follower of Galletism
In Terra Nova, he is the mayor of La_Paz and the king of Bolivia. In Terra Aurora, he is the mayor of the town of Barroso.
History
Early Period
FranchuFranchu spawned at Brazil, near the coast. He sailed to Montevideo (in La_Plata). He asked the town mayor, who was Dam_Son at the moment, to invite him. Montevideo was a all-residents-build-everywhere town, so he contributed by making a few buildings according to the town plan, which was on the nation Discord. After a while Dam_Son left, leaving JonTheBooty, who was the previous town mayor, as the owner of the town. JonTheBooty wasn't very active.
Valdes penisula war
Beginning
On January 15th, ishallownyou and other players founded Nuovo_Palermo near La_Plata's territory. This angered La_Plata's town mayors, who declared war on them. FranchuFranchu offered himself to be the town mayor of a town (Puerto_Madryn) near Nuovo_Palermo in order to have a base for the war. He and La_Plata's army created and built the town.
Battle
Then came the battle. Argentina's army assembled and marched to the town. No enemies showed up, so the soldiers left the game one by one. Then, when the army was small, the enemies joined and they were crushed. FranchuFranchu was also witness of one of the enemies killing the horses of a nearby La_Platan town.
End
La_Plata had to admit defeat. Peace deals were made, and FranchuFranchu had to sell the town for 128 gold. He already knew what to do with it.
Founding of his town
FranchuFranchu decided to do a town the furthest north possible but inside the range of Buenos_Aires. He founded SantaCruz_Sierra with his gold, and made small buildings and a storage room inspired by Montevideo's.
Pirates
Some time after this, a town called Pirates joined La_Plata. It was a ship town which built boats near Buenos Aires' coast. You can still see what's left of it today. The town was rather nice, but then the mayor scammed someone. His town was sieged, and FranchuFranchu just went there to watch. He was killed a few times in the process
Ice roads
Near August, FranchuFranchu started making ice roads. He first made the SantaCruz_Sierra to Resistencia ice road. After he finished, he did SantaCruz_Sierra to Arica. After this, he tried to connect Montecarlo with New_Spain, but was killed by runnerboy72000. Then he tried to connect Montecarlo with Bogota, and he succeded.
Politics
SoyGalletita had irl problems, so Mr_RockyRoll was named the "substitute king". FranchuFranchu asked him to become foreign affairs minister because he liked diplomacy and he became the foreign affairs minister on April.
Middle period
Inactivity
Around may-october 2019, after Pirates's fall, FranchuFranchu slowly became less active in the server when compared before. He only connected a few times every month and did not build many things other than ice roads. Argentina was also inactive, and most of La Plata's decisions happened in the Chile discord. This made him detached from La Platan politics outside of DMs.
Guarani
On February 2020 FranchuFranchu was given the nation of New Argentina by JonnyGrunge as part of La Plata. It was renamed to Guarani and later, when the capital was moved to Asuncion, to Paraguay.
Back to activity
During early 2021 FranchuFranchu became active again. He was given chancellor role in the La Plata parliament created in early 2020. Basically all of the people he played with in early 2019 were no longer active or were banned, so he did not really know the other parliament members other than JonnyGrunge. He quickly got used to it though, and used his questionably valid position of foreign affairs minister to get into international politics.
He also worked on nether ice roads and kept La Plata's history alive.
La Paz
On August 4th, about 1000g was gathered between JonnyGrunge and FranchuFranchu to make a claim arm from Paraguay to SantaCruz_Sierra, and unclaim the middle. This essentially merged both towns.
Terra Aurora
In Terra Aurora, FranchuFranchu joined Buenos_Aires and played side-by-side with SoyGalletita himself for a short time. However, he became inactive, while La Plata quickly changed around him.
FranchuFranchu built an ice road to Antarctica and connected some La Platan towns.
During this period, FranchuFranchu's faith was at an all-time high and he built a Galletist temple, which caused SoyGalletita to name him an official Galletist Priest, the first of its kind.
Rebirth
On July 2023, FranchuFranchu sent a meme in the #memes channel in the La Plata server, and JonnyGrunge asked him to create Barroso. This caused FranchuFranchu to play in the server again.
Towns
- Montevideo (Argentina) Franchu's first town. FranchuFranchu left it for the war.
- Puerto_Madryn (Argentina) This town acted as a war base . It was sold afterwards.
- SantaCruz_Sierra (Argentina) FranchuFranchu created this town on January 2019 to "claim" as much territory for Argentina at the north. Its location corresponds to the real-life border with Brazil. It has many ice roads connecting to it, built by FranchuFranchu. Before 1.16 it had a nether ice road to Bogotá.
- SantaCruz_Sierra (New Argentina - Guarani - Paraguay) When New Argentina stopped being useful in the south, the nation was given to FranchuFranchu and renamed
- Paraguay (Paraguay) In August 4th, 2021, Santa Cruz was merged with the Paraguay town and FranchuFranchu moved to Paraguay for a day.
- La_Paz (Bolivia) FranchuFranchu was made the king of Bolivia.
- Trinidad (Peru-Bolivia) FranchuFranchu bought the nation of Trinidad as a La Platan representative while JonnyGrunge held La Paz.
- Buenos_Aires (La_Plata) FranchuFranchu played here for a while to develop La Plata.
- Barroso (Chile) FranchuFranchu was needed as a mayor in this town.
Trivia
- In Terra Nova, other than Montevideo, FranchuFranchu was never in a town without being the mayor for more than 2 days.
- FranchuFranchu was never in any meganation other than La Plata.
- Technically, FranchuFranchu is still the foreign affairs minister of La Plata. No one has ever said otherwise.
