Golden Bed was an event that lasted around 15 minutes on the 10th of January 2021. It was hosted by Fix, the server owner and had all premium players participate.

Before Event

Server crash

The server, had crashed, and all players were kicked after a 30 minutes of immense lag. After the queue would not work, among other problems, the server was opened to premium and donator players.

During Event

Beginning

After this, mobs would spawn, resulting in multiple players finding dogs, and one finding two polar bears in Alaska. The lag was much less, due to less players online. It would also start raining, with a lightning strike noticed in Sweden. However the tree struck by this was not found.

Ideas of Sleeping

The server, at the time was exploring looking for mobs. Many people had the sudden idea of passing the night, and due to this went to /n spawn Minnesota. Many players got there, and the event started.

Dyraville

Once most players were at Dyraville, Fix told everyone to do "/warp newyork". This landed everyone at New York, and everyone went back to Dyraville. However, many players when coming back started to suffocate. This resulted in no deaths, and the event continued. People started to get in beds after a thunderstorm, and people who didn't have a bed were told to type "/warp bed" by Fix.

It happens

Once everyone got in, the server skipped the night. The chat erupted in "GG"'s and more. The server started to ask for a reward, which many people said should be an "Enchanted Bed" or something similar.

Enchanted Bed

After multiple requests, Fix handed out an "enchanted bed" to everyone online. It was yellow, and titled "Golden Bed". Some people started to sell them, for high prices. However the exact trades with this item were not recorded.

Aftermath

After this event, some premium players boycotted the event, saying it was "unfair" and "to get more subscriptions". This received some support, and many followed.
