Maracay
History
Early History
Maracay was created on 10/12/2019 by Boonyy. It is located near the coast of Northern Venezuela and was established by a lake. The town was created with contributions from Boonyy and from neighboring town Caribe Bay by it's mayor OzziekoalaBritz. Because of this, Caribe Bay is very close ally of Maracay and will assist them with whatever they may need. Maracay is apart of New Spain, but much like Caribe Bay, they do not take part in wars they find unnecessary.
The Tree Project
The Tree Project was started in New Spain's Trinish Venezuelan area, that required each town to plant new trees and forests in their territory. The project is still in progress. Maracay is taking part in this project, and have planted around 20 trees recently.
The Renaming
On 11/23/19 the town was renamed to Maracay from Maralago. This was decided because Mayor Boonyy decided it was better to give the town the name of the real life city the town is located near.
Geography
Maracay is located surrounding a lake, with large mountains to the north, and an expansive savanna to the south, with a few smaller lakes scattered around it. A small jungle is located to the west, followed by more dry savanna.

- Maracay Garden: Created in honor of The Tree Project
- Maracay Marina: Boating company on the coast
- Memorial Cabin: Wooden Cabin created to host important artifacts of history
- Maracay Bank: Built and managed by resident VillagerNumber91
