Rexburg's Phantom Crusade
Rexburg's Phantom Crusade was an unofficial Pissist crusade aimed to the city of Rexburg during the Siege of Rexburg. The crusade was caused because of the destruction of the St. Scorpionzzx Church of Pissism by antxasil, the mayor of the town. Matthi3000_ caught wind of this and began an intense attack on the city, requesting the help of other Pissists.
The crusade was never officially declared, making it a so called "phantom crusade".
Background
On December 5th, 2021, the Siege of Rexburg began with the town of Rexburg being the location. Santacruiser came to the city to spread Pissism, build Pee Pees and form the St. Scorpionzzx Church of Pissism.<ref>We don't know if Santacruiser came to Rexburg with the specific intent to build the church.</ref> Santacruiser remained in the Cascadina-occupied zone of Rexburg, but miscommunication made the citizens of Rexburg misunderstand the meaning of the crusade, as they thought it was griefing. As retaliation, antxasil, the mayor of Rexburg, organized suicide bombings to the church and it was destroyed.
History
Pissist influence begins
Matthi3000_ found the siege's wiki page and read about the bombings. He deemed the event unacceptable and tried to organize a crusade against the town. The crusade was met with minimal attention, and so, Matthi decided to attack by himself.
Victory
On January 24th, 2022, Rexburg fell, and on the following day, Rexburg was refounded as a Pissist theocracy by Santacruiser.
