RoadPersia was a name given to the Road Network built by the Persian Citizens around mid-November 2017.

History

RoadPersia was a cooperative road building and repair organization by the citizens of Persia, led by Sou0x of Babylon, HectorTheSquid and IsmaelNogZed of Gorgan, and PolkadotBlueBear of Alania (and a few others) to connect all the towns in the Persian Nation to one another.

Most of all the roads were built in one day in mid-November.

Completed Roads

Alania-Babylon

Road between the Alanian Castle and Babylon along the mountains.

Armenia-Babylon

Road between the former town of YerevanArmenia (Then in Alania), along the Tigris to Babylon.

Persian Trunk Road

Main Road, Between Babylon and (I forget town name). Elevated and level for most of its journey. Ran from Babylon, though Gorgan, and to (town I forget name), Was planned to go on to Harappa, but never made it.

Unfinished Roads

Many roads where planned, such as an extension of the Trunk Road to Harappa and roads between Harappa and Neodonia that were never built. There were also plans to rebuild the Alanian-built Indo-Stan Road that never happened.

Greater Significance

The RoadPersia Network was quickly built, and was a good friendship building routine for Persia, but it became apparent, with the lack of Sepandyar, that the people were unsure if this Road would need official permission. There was no one except Sepandyar who has that authority and for some (Notably Incofex of Neodonia) would take this as a reason to push for Persia to pass on control to another player (Which never happened). This caused internal divisions and may have had a destabilizing effect on Persia, despite the Road networks good intentions.

Current Status

The RoadPersia Network is no longer building roads, most of the players either became inactive, or moved away from the former Persian lands. The Roads do occasionally get repaired by CaspianVia and maybe other towns also do repairs. RoadPersia, built during the height of Persia, is all that remains of the former Persian Nation besides memories.
