Snowfortbyen
Snowfortbyen is a fairly large town built over the ruins of the Republic of Svalbard.
History
Formation
Olavia was created around Nov 21, 2019. Olavia was founded by Lopatomil a week after joining Svalbard. During that time he saved up almost 3 stacks of gold. He then announced his plans for rebuilding ruins of the old republic to the Svalbard king, ThundorLord. The King agreed and contributed with more gold.
Growth
The walls of the previous town had been fixed . As of today Olavia consists of 7 residents and 43 chunks. That makes it the fifth largest city on Svalbard. The town was sold to Orhil1003 in early Feb of 2020. Who also renamed it to Olavia. Orhil later sold it so he could create his own town, to Tocantis, who himself renamed it to Snowfortbyen.
Buildings
The walls of the fort are the only part of the Old Republic ruins that remains fully intact. Snowfortbyen is connected to every town on Svalbard by ice roads.
