History

The Start

The town of Southland was created by a fund, from the mayor of Oxford, a neighboring town. This fund included 64 gold to start the town. Southland was created by the player that goes by as _m1ner_. After the town was first created _m1ner_ took out a large loan from the king (linkeron1) of 315 gold. This loan has still not been payed off till this day.

Downfall

After a few months of grinding and expanding the town, the mayor, _m1ner_ went inactive. Thankfully, the town did not fall into ruins.

Prosperity

After the inactivity _m1ner_ came back and got straight to work. The town started expanding, gained new members, and the town started to look like a town. After a few months of working hard to make the town grow and prosper to the best of its ability, it is now the largest town in New Zealand.

Architecture

The town of Southland has a wide variety of architecture. Half of Southland looks like a modern, rich, and large city and the other side is currently being converted into a mediveal type of town. There are also two tall buildings one east from spawn, and another south from spawn. The building east is used to house citizens and is not as tall as the other. The other building is currently under construction and is one of the tallest buildings in New Zealand. This building will be used as a hotel.
