Nova:Texico
Texico is a meganation in North America which covers primarily the Texas-Mexico region. It was founded by Fraccu, Cubs, MrE_22, and PotatoFilms on December 14th 2021, and consists of the original founding nations of Texas Republic, Pueblo, Zapotec, and the Oceanic colony of Vanuatu. Texico was made after Texas Republic, Pueblo, and Vanuatu left Cascadia and declared independence, and Zapotec later joined after MrE_22 proposed the idea to them. South Island is the most recent nation to join (February 17th 2022).
History of Texico
Texico was founded on December 14th, 2021. It was founded after Texas Republic, Pueblo, and Vanuatu left Cascadia. In late December, Fraccu, the founder of Texico, had taken a temporary break, and handed Cubs the nation. Less than a month later, Fraccu retook the throne, and remains leader of Texico to this day. The nation lost a fair bit of population over the course of January 2022, but remains intact and held a firm grasp of its territory. There is no higher level of territory in Texico than colonies. Texico is also home to the EFL (EarthMC Football League) team known as the Texas Lonestars. It was founded officially on February 8th of 2022. On February 17th 2022, Fraccu spent 250 gold to purchase Invercargill and the nation of the South Island, New Zealand from MilanGreeny. It became the 5th colony of Texico, and its 2nd overseas territory. On March 4th Texico received its first Freely Associated State, Texas. Only a day later on March 5th of 2022, Woodland Cree was sold to Texico and renamed to Oklahoma, becoming its 2nd Freely Associated State. Freely Associated States are treated as colonies but dont tie into the political picture as much as other nations within Texico do. After a few weeks of stagnation in March, on the 20th of March in 2022 the 8th member of Texico, Yellowknife, would join. The 9th nation to join Texico is Austronesia, the former Cascadian nation owned by mell0_jell0. Austronesia officially joined as a freely associated state on March 24th 2022. Fraccu had to leave for Stewart Island in an emergency effort to save the South Island on March 29th 2022, and gave Cubs_ Texico. Saph became the vice president of Texico, and TopPilot became the new chancellor.
