The Nobel Prize
The Nobel Prize is an upcoming ceremony hosted by the Uppsala Council. It was to be held on the 10th of December, 2019 in Uppsala, Kalmar Union.
The date was later changed to Dec 29, 2019, at 6:30am CET (GMT+1).
History
Announcement
The event was announced for the first time on the 19th of November 2019, and the Discord server for the event was opened to the public.
The Loss of 604 Gold
When the event was announced, people started donating to the foundation. Three days later, Graylynn released a statement saying that 600+ gold had gone missing from the Uppsala City Vault.
It was later announced that the player that had stolen the gold had been caught. However, they were not able to retrieve the gold back. People were now speculating if the event would even happen.
The Revival
Even though people had their doubts about the event happening, the foundation kept on recieving donations. It now looks like the event is happening after all.
The End
The not much publicized time was set for Dec 29, 2019, at 6:30am CET (GMT+1). Linus apparently overslept and postponed the event indefinitely. People were disgruntled. When Linus finally showed up, he removed some of the stacked gold blocks, then went inactive. Cubs_ and Tyce set off TNT and killed him. They received the winner certificates, but when questioned about the 10 gold blocks, neither of them admitted to having received any. Linux said there was TNT under the seats, because his girlfriend Graylynn was inspired by the GoT scene when Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor. The TNT was placed, but Linux had not planned to execute the plan, because no switch was placed to trigger the explosion.
