The Cascadian Civil War is an ongoing civil conflict involving multiple nations that were formerly part of the Republic of Cascadia, a mega nation in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. While active military conflict has only been underway for a relatively short time, the underlying issues have existed for a much longer period of time.
Causes
The primary cause of the breakup of Cascadia into multiple factions in conflict with one another is most commonly attributed to the state of the Cascadian federal government at the end of January, 2020 and the beginning of February, 2020. Most of the breakaway factions generally agree that their original reasons for leaving were the failures within the executive administration of the Cascadian government, along with continuing foreign influence in Cascadian affairs.
