TwitchPid is a player within Denmark, he owns a town called Vesterålen.

History

Joining EarthMC

TwitchPid was looking for an Earth server. Thinking it was the same server, he joined an alternative Earth server. He would only play this for around a day and would find that EarthMC was just what he was looking for. As he joined, he asked in chat for a town. Like all new players do, he got several invites. However, the only one to speak to him was Ferraru, the mayor of Oak, Cuba. He requested a plot, and got one around 30 minutes after joining the server. He built his house which he would live in for the rest of that week.

Coming to Denmark

Another new player, Slickss, said in chat that he had found a bunch of anime mapart in his hometown of Slesvig, Denmark. Twitch messaged Slick saying he would pay 1 gold for a piece of mapart. Slick needed somewhere to teleport to, so Twitch suggested he teleport to Cuba. Slick, being a resident of Denmark, was not allied to Cuba. He told Twitch he could not teleport there. Twitch, being new to the Towny plugin, said that public spawn travel to Denmark was not enabled. He demanded Slick give him their Discord, but he said no. He decided he would teleport to another European nation, even if there was a journey to be had. He came to Slick's plot in Slesvig, and the two would trade and hang out around the town for a while.

Joining Denmark

Twitch was able to get Denmark's Discord from Slick, and here he would ask about the spawn travel. He was told how nations had to be allied, and in their talking, Denmark encouraged Twitch to join Copenhagen. Twitch new his first town of Oak was still very small, and it had started to lose residents at a rapid pace. He had been caught up in this wave, and joined Denmark. He had confidence in his new-found nation, and knew he made the right choice.

Life in Copenhagen

Twitch had been greeted by Wildcat b, after a confusing teleport to Copenhagen's /t spawn. He was immediately shown the available housing, and chose one soon after. The only problem, however, is that Twitch did not have the gold to pay for the house. Wildcat b, being in a good mood, gave Twitch the house for free. Twitch was surprised by this and would lead to his loyalty of Denmark. He also stared in awe at the incredible housing put up by Copenhagen. Looking for gold, Twitch asked Denmark, in their Discord, how to make it. Maple d responded telling Twitch how Slesvig and Copenhagen offered rewards of gold for recruiting residents. He asked Wildcat b to give him the recruiter role needed, and he got what he wanted. He would go on to get Copenhagen to a peak of 27 residents, while most left only days after.

Creating a town

Twitch was bored of Copenhagen. He had no place in building, the council, but only recruiting resident after resident. He had learned that mining for gold was the best way of making money, making 100 gold in one short day. He asked Maple d about creating a town, and he said he would be glad to help. 32Lego joined in, telling Twitch the price of a town and recommended he gained 500 gold before making his town. Shorty later, on December 26th, he created the town.

Vesterålen

Conflict on creation

Twitch had decided on his town's location, in northern Norway. Maple d had told Twitch the spot was in their territory, but still denied the creation of the town in that location. Vesterålen was only 1 chunk north of another town, Lofoten. Luckily, the mayor of Lofoten, Reddsman, was friends with Maple. Even though, Maple said Twitch would not be allowed to talk to him, and Maple wanted Twitch to change locations. After all this, Twitch found hope. Reddsman had started to talk in Denmark's Discord, and Twitch had found an opportunity to speak to him. The two agreed that Twitch could claim all of the Vesterålen islands, but Reddsman would get all of Lofoten. Twitch would go out and create his town.

Building

Twitch had decided on what he would build. The reason he chose such an unpopular spot, was because he needed space to build. He wanted the ocean to build a large bridge system, with houses along the way. He loved terraforming and even based his town hall under a hill. He was ready to build, as he had experience from building in his own survival worlds. Now, he has completed his goal of a large bridge system and is filling Vesterålen with houses, even with the limitations on size.

Making friends

Shopping at Yukon

As Twitch was building out his town, he needed somewhere to grab materials. He found Yukon had many shops around, and was one of Denmark's only big allies. He bought out many, many stacks of blocks there, and karlkraven06, their leader, started recognizing Twitch as an avid shopper of the area. One day, Twitch noticed Karl put something in chat, saying, "Yukon has spruce wood". After several similar messages, Twitch started saying, "Yukon has everything," as a joke. Whether Twitch needs anything, or everything, he shops at Yukon.

Using friendship to attack

Twitch had learned that Denmark was a great enemy of Germany. He was ready to show his loyalty to Denmark, so he planned to attack. At first, he stated to the rest of Denmark that he would be patrolling Germany, and asked for people to come. Nobody did, so he went off on his own. Along his journey, he spotted a German, and wanted to attack. Instead, to Twitch's surprise, a builder in Leipzig, jacksonater03, offered him a house. Twitch, knowing Denmark and Germany had enemied each other, thought he would never get the plot. Even though, Twitch was able to convince jacksonater03 to set the plot as an embassy, so that he was able to claim it. This was even after Twitch had admitted to the builder that he was from Denmark. Still, Twitch claimed out the plot, and planned to have a third house there. Maple d had got news of Twitch's claim, and told him to bomb it. Twitch thought of this for a while, and he said he would do it. Twitch set off his first TNT, but he still didn't know how permissions worked, so he resorted to placing signs, tearing stuff up, and placing random blocks. This has now been rolled back.
