Baltic is a nation and meganation of the same name in Northern Europe. Although the nation has experienced a lot of turmoil and radical changes, it never fully ceased to exist. Currently Baltic is a Republic with strong democratic institutions. Current member states of the meganation: Baltic, Fennoskandia, Estonia, Latvia.

Subdividing has always been really inconsistent so this is not final, but it's better to use headings as intended. So for example:
Two events contributed for the idea of Baltic to be born. Firstly, the selling of (old) Estonia by the leader TRIDENTY and the nation of Livonian_Order falling into inactivity. Estonian mayors for a long time were uncontented with TRIDENTY’s rule. But the last straw was selling of the nation and its capital - the largest town - to Russians who belonged to the nation of Austria-Hungary. The town of Louna, at the time under rule of REK3k, joined Livonian_Order, while the neighbouring town of Sakala was bought by Livonian_Order, specifically by the player named THE_GREAT_LATVIA, and handed to Andris237 (now - MMMeslina). Soon after, already fallen from its previous glory Livonian Order went in even bigger inactivity: THE_GREAT_LATVIA quit EMC for some time and the leaders stopped responding to any DMs and logged onto the server only to not let the capital and nation fall. Some time before the very day of foundation, REK3k - the at the time ruler of Louna - created an inter town organization in Baltic Sea region. Many towns, big and small, joined it. First and foremost it was an economic organization, a platform to help coordinate infrastructure projects in the region. It could be compared to the in real life Hanseatic League. That is when the seed of an idea of a united Baltic nation was born, even if it was still far from realization.

====Ideas Come to Fruition====
After the Baltic Economic Union slowly declined and its most prominent member - Prussia - was sold and went inactive, REK3k came up with an idea to unite Estonia under one banner, one nation. At that time the Baltics were severely divided between different nations, rulers and foreign powers. At first, Louna under the leadership of Jyrikuri1, Sakala under the leadership of REK3k, and Ingria under the leadership of Andris237, joined the GDL - the nation at that time ruled by Egonas6000. Soon after an opportunity showed up to acquire a nation for themselves. On March 22th, 2024 REK3k got a nation for free from Hubbayes - the mayor of Hanko, and renamed it to Baltic, because the name of Estonia was already taken by TRIDENTY. With this, the newly founded Baltic nation, in a pretty clumsy way, separated from the GDL and became its own, independent entity. The first government of Baltic was formed, with REK3k being the President, Jyrikuri1 - Minister of Internal Security (MIS) and successor to the President’s post, and Andris237 becoming the Head Judge. Thus a long lasting triumvirate of power in the nation was formed. Soon after the ambitions of the newly founded state grew even further - Baltic claimed its final goal was to unite all Baltic states, not only the irl borders of Estonia, under a single banner.

====Monarchy Switches to a Republic====
The Baltic State was being led by King The_Great_Latvia. One day, he grew tired of EMC. He had school to do and EMC was becoming boring. He also claimed that EMC had corrupt moderation, an idea that is still popular to this date. All of these factors led LATVIETIS to pass down the crown of Baltic to his successor, Crown Prince m6nuspoiss.
M6nuspoiss had vastly different ideals than the leaders before him. He wanted a democracy instead of monarchy. With that, the Baltic Kingdom transitioned from monarchy to democracy and the First Baltic Republic had been founded.

The First Baltic Republic was hosting their third ever election. The 2 main candidates were GuyWithALife and CFRhino. The election was in full swing, and it was a very close battle. In the end, GuyWithALife came out on top. However, CFR demanded a recount of the votes. So m6nuspoiss recounted all of the votes, with proof, of course. Even with the recount, GWAL still came out on top. That meant that the decision was final. GWAL was the new Prime Minister of Baltic!

The very next day, disaster struck. Turns out, GWAL was a spy for the enemy. Another known member, Qvidos, was going to leak GWAL, so GWAL decided to come clean. He revealed that he had been working for the enemy all along. m6nuspoiss, the President, immediately removed GWAL from the position of Prime Minister, and appointed UberLatvans, a well known member of Baltic, as the temporary PM. Turns out, UberLatvans was an anarchist. He convinced m6 to turn Baltic into an Anarchy State. Immediately, people were outraged. People knew that they had to bring Baltic back to it's former glory.
After extensive talks with EchoOcelot Paperpikmin established a new German state in order to recreate the German nation. Initially, success was seen, with a new town established and Berlin regained. This slowed as Paperpikmin became incredibly busy off the server. Nonetheless, as November arrived the nation saw continued legitimacy and growth, however, it is slow due to the major towns of Leipzig and Hamburg proving an enormous obstacle. Many new alliances were quickly established, and diplomatic talks were made initially.

====Founding of the Kingdom====
Many people hated the fact that Baltic collapsed. This is why a group of 7 members - LATVIETIS, BoBander, the_estonian_guy, Xultimate, ForgotNameAGAIN, REK3K, Mikieu - created the Kingdom of Baltic. The Kingdom of Baltic was going to be very similar to the First Baltic Republic, with some minor changes. The government was going to be much more secure with many more layers, to prevent spies getting into the ranks easily. The 7 members hoped to bring Baltic back to it's former glory, and they set out to do just that.
At first, the 7 members named the nation the "Second Baltic Republic." However, many ideas arose. People sought for a change, not an exact copy and paste of the original Baltic Republic. This is why the 7 members decided to change the name to the "Kingdom of Baltic." This name stuck, and has stayed ever since.
The Baltic people also needed a new flag for a new nation. The new flag was adopted, and everyone was happy. Many people said that this new flag was better than the old flag.
====Tallinn Rejoins Baltic====
By now, the 7 members had already established a running government in Baltic. It had quite strong leadership, and the people were happy. m6nuspoiss, the previous President of Baltic, came to the new Kingdom with some delightful news for all of them. Tallinn, the old capital city, was going to rejoin Baltic! m6 said that he had acted too quickly and made rash decisions, and that he belonged to Baltic. The Kingdom welcomed him once more with open arms, and with that, Baltic was now back to it's former glory. Now they had to focus on growing stronger than they were before.
====BoBander Steals the Treasury====
In December of 2024, another round of elections had concluded. This time, something fishy happened. BoBander, one of the candidates, was the one who owned the form for voting. Many of the votes from people who said they voted did not appear. This was caused because BoBander had deleted some of the votes against his competitors. People were obviously outraged. BoBander, who was going to get kicked out anyways, decided to steal all 5,000 of the Baltic's gold and run away to create a nation in Antarctica with his friend, Mandi.
====Where are we Now?====
After Rek abdicated, MMMeslina has promised to carry Baltic to new heights. He has strengthened relations with neighboring nations, and even brought a few wars to an end. MMMeslina is hoping that Baltic can become a central European power that uses that power for good, instead of evil. Many people support MMMeslina in his journey to save Baltic.
