Eire, sometimes referred to as Ireland, or the High Kingdom of Ireland, is the largest nation on the island of Ireland, as well as in the broader British Isles. It was founded and built with the revival of the Accordo group, after the unbannings of prominent members such as SlyPrince and MineHero43, with many of its mayors and notable people being characters from Nova Britain. Eire operates along the foundations and ideology of Accordo and Accordoism (see The Accordo Manifesto).

Government Structure

Seanad (Parliament)

Eire is a Parliamentary Democracy & Constitutional Monarchy, a system of government that is enshrined within Eire's official Constitution, issued and proclaimed by the High King SlyPrince. The High King is not popularly elected, but under the High Kingdom's system of governance, the Taoiseach is elected once every two months by the Seanad (Parliament).

The Irish Seanad consists of all mayors in the Irish nation. All members of the Seanad may propose and vote on laws. Additionally, if necessary, they are able to bring forward a vote of no confidence against the Taoiseach, if they can garner enough support from other mayors. The High King has the power to veto the Seanad, however this can be overruled by a unanimous majority.

The Seanad is overseen and governed by the White Rod, the symbol of authority of Gaelic Kings, and the personal representative of the High King in the Seanad.

High Council

The Taoiseach manages the Irish government on behalf of the High King, and appoints Ministears to help him/her run the nation. These individuals make up the High Council, the executive branch of the government. These Ministears can be fired by the Taoiseach or the High King at any given moment.

Geography

Location

Eire is situated primarily on the island of Ireland, with towns across the British Isles.

Eire is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with the Irish Sea between the island of Ireland and it's neighbouring nations in Great Britain. Eire shares no land borders with any nation.

Features

Eire consists of mainly forest which makes clearing and constructing difficult, as the custom trees do across all of EarthMC. While Eire continues to clear out many of the original trees to make way for development, some have been preserved in the form of national nature reserves, known as the Kingswoods.

Transportation

The National Highways

Envisioned ever since the founding of Eire, the National Highways are the most extensive system of roads and infrastructure to have been built in Terra Nostra Europe. It is one of the most ambitious projects on the server and is constantly being upgraded and expanded, to ensure that all towns on the island of Ireland are easily and visibly connected by road.

Early History

Founding

The nation of Eire was founded by SlyPrince after he rejoined the server following his unban. Joining the Accordo towns that had already been created in Ireland as the advance party.

Eire was planned following the unbanning of Accordo. SlyPrince would go on to establish the largest town in Ireland and in the entire British isles by population, 'Ireland'. Alongside Ireland town came many more towns as Accordo began migrant to establish Eire as the Accordo nation on Terra Nostra.

Operation Johnzinn

After a couple weeks of planning, estojo was able to successfully infiltrate the city of Dublin by gaining the trust of Rtyr, the mayor of Dublin, and the rest of the nation of Scotland. He was then given councillor in the town. 1 hour before the new day, on June 2th, 2026, "Operation Johnzinn" commenced. every single person in Dublin was kicked out of the town and trusted permissions were given to all of Accordo in the town. As a result, Dublin lost Tens of barrels of potions and loot, and its whole auto brewer, auto furnace, and storage room were raided completely, with high value loot such as player heads taken from the storage room. Players Estojo, SlyPrince, MineHero43, FutureLemon, 1mojang, and MapleVK had a direct role in this new-day raid, with others providing support. 24 chunks were immediately claimed from Dublin following the two consecutive new days due to its new overclaimed status. At this point, an entire castle in Dublin was completely claimed.

Soon after, Rtyr realized the insiding in Dublin and withdrew from the town after unclaiming most of the chunks in the town. Ireland claimed this unclaimed space shortly after. This unclaimed space was nearly the entire town's built structures, and an entire map platform. the town was then transferred to the United Kingdom, with flda being granted mayor of the town. Today, the town sits at a fraction of its former size, Barely hugging the coast of the island.
