TheKaroo is an EarthMC Terra Nova and Terra Aurora player. On Terra Nova, he was notable as the King of Namibia and the mayor of Matjiesfontein, the capital of the nation. On Terra Aurora, he was the mayor of Windhoek.

History

Starting Off (Nova)

TheKaroo spawned into the server (Aurora) with a strong desire to settle in southern Africa. When he spawned in, he was surrounded by a dense forrest, and after a while, he realized that he was in the direct center of Russia. He immediately went south, where he eventually made it to the Arabian Sea, entering the waters surrounding Pakistan. He then travelled along the African coast, stopping at deserted town for food. Eventually he made it to the southern tip of Africa, settling in the Cape Winelands. After being on the server for a couple days, he founded the town Cape_Town, with the help of the leader of the nation the Kalahari. This frustrated the leaders of Kaapkust, a neighboring nation that had high tensions with the Kalahari. Kaapkust claimed that they then declared war on TheKaroo and the Kalahari, and succeedingly won, which are all lies.

Namibia (Nova)

After being harassed by Kaapkust, The_Karoo decided to then move north into the Kalahari Desert area and founded the town of Matjiesfontein. He joined the nation of Nubia, eventually creating his own nation of Namibia, which stayed as a colony of Nubia. Mikevanzyl, the right hand man man of TheKaroo, created the town Swakopmund, which eventually became the capital of the nation of Botswana. The nation grew quickly, with notable towns like Bashivo, Johannesburg, and many more forming.

The nation Botswana, the new nation created by led by Mikevanzyl, was very close with Namibia. The two nations were close trading partners, each contributing significantly to each other's economic success. Namibia was one of the top producers of the potion Haste II in continental Africa. Botswana specialized in sheep delivery and transportation, which saw massive shipments all over the world.

Time Spent As Colony Of Nubia (Nova)

Despite Namibia being their own nation, TheKaroo decided that it would be best for Namibia to remain a colony of Nubia for protection and stability. During TheKaroo's time in Nubia, he opened a Namibian shop in the capital of Nubia, El Obeid, which had decent success. TheKaroo decided to also participate in the election for Nubia's Secretary of Defense position, as TheKaroo believed that he could contribute greatly to Nubia’s military operations, especially after experiencing a recent battle, the Siege of Azula, first hand leading up to the election. However, he lost the election and claimed that the loss was due to corruption and discrimination against colonial leaders who were not directly part of Nubia. To the right is propaganda posted by TheKaroo during his election campaign.

Rhodesia (Nova)

TheKaroo, looking to expand his nation and take over the area of Kaapkust, chose to move the capital of Namibia to the area of Zimbabwe. In doing so, he renamed his nation of Namibia to Rhodesia. Eventually, TheKaroo gave the leadership of the nation to Mr_Fonder, the mayor of Bashivo, believing that Mr_Fonder could bring Rhodesia to its highest potential. Rhodesia thrived and was strong leading up to the EarthMC reset in 2022.

Windhoek (Aurora)

TheKaroo founded the town Windhoek following the EarthMC reset in 2022.

The Karoo will be back and stronger for the EarthMC reset in 2026, with rumors of desires to settle again in southern Africa.
