A mix of [[Nova:Avalon|Avalonian]] and [[Nova:Acadia|Acadian]] residents from different towns who had remained dedicated to Maritime Canada as an identity, created a shared alliance ([[Maritime East Coast Alliance (M.E.C.A) (Nova)|MECA]]). Upon the reset to [[Terra Aurora]], this group would attempt to achieve the same success through their nation [[Aurora:Gold Coast|Gold Coast]], but ultimately resulted in disinterest and their eventual departure from EMC between the years of 2022 and 2023. Upon news of a new map coming to EMC, [[Nethermite13]] had teased returning to create a successor to [[Nova:Saint John|Saint John from Nova]].
