The People's Republic of China (PRC) is a small, developing nation situated in Western China. The capital is currently building housing to contain citizens.

History

The Beginning of a Nation

The People's Republic of China was officially found on December 9th, 2020 with the purchase of a town from Kolleen, originally named Dornan. Immediately afterwards, development started with the original structures (excluding the original spawn building, for now) being torn down in order to build the town in his own image.

Communications with Siberia

As Matthew was flattening out Guizhou for construction, out of the blue he was PM'd by Leny1135 (a politician of the Siberian Communist Party) and was told about the People's Republics of Russia (at the time People's Republics of Siberia). Not too long later on December 26 after some negotiation, the People's Republic of China officially became a member of the PRR.

A Slow Start

Starting in January of 2021, the PRC began building a series of farms in order to become self-sufficient. Starting with automatic plant farms (pumpkins, melons, etc.), it has since expanded to automatic animal farms and manual animal farms. And of the time of writing, housing is currently a priority in order to recruit citizens.

Government

State Council

The State Council includes the President and Vice President (who are appointed) and the Prime and Vice Minister (Elected as a pair), with the main powers being split between the two groups. In the case the President or Prime Minister is absent, the VP or VM takes the helm, depending on which role needs temporary filling. However, if the PM is declared "Functionally Dead" (absent 30 days on Discord and Minecraft), the Vice Minister is promoted to Prime Minister. This does not apply to the presidency, as the president must voluntarily step down.

For any future territories, the leader and second-in-command are designated as a Governor and Deputy Governor.

State Cabinet

The State Cabinet was created in order to individually manage more specialized issues and actions, reflected by the name each occupies. Members of the Cabinet are appointed by the current Prime Minister (or President if Prime Minister is Functionally Dead), excluding the Minister of Finance due to the sensitive nature of the position.

National People's Congress

The National People's Congress is comprised of the mayors in the nation. For a list of Congressmen/women, view the "Towns" section.

Military

The primary objectives of the People's Liberation Army include town defense, foreign intervention, and escorting VIPs and builders in Wilderness.

• Ranks
  • The Minister of National Defense is elected every 2 months, with officers in the People's Liberation Army being allowed to run for this position in the Cabinet.
  • Generals are senior officers in the military, ranking above Captains.
  • Captains are officers who have proven themselves worthy in combat and leadership..
  • PLAGF is the rank for the main frontlines force, standing for People's Liberation Army Ground Force.
  • All citizens (unless living in a peaceful town) are encouraged to defend theirs or separate towns during attacks, making all eligible civilians part of the People's Armed Militia.
