Aurora:Spruce Swamp

Land of the Deepslate Tree.
Spruce Swamp is a small settlement on the edge of a more swampy environment. Its industry is paper, sugar cane, potatos and bone meal. It has plans to expand Eastwards, creating a residential area.
History
Foundation Era [27th February - 14th March]
Constructed between the 27th February and 1st March, Spruce Swamp was built around a tree that reached deepslate thus being given the title 'Land of the Deepslate Tree'. When founded with 7 chunks, Rocktapper1 gave tours of his settlement to Nunavik Residents and on 3rd March, a redstone sugar cane machine was constructed to provide supplies to the shop.
Throughout early March, the Spruce Swamp Archive, Baked Potato Farm, Redstone River and residential areas were constructed.
Regeneration Era [15th March - Present]
From 15th to 19th March, some buildings were demolished; the sugar cane machine and public dog farm were regenerated into new spaces. The home spawn as improved with more vegetation and the town's chunks expanded from 14 to 21. As a result of Fuze169 and Rocktapper1 helping MasterEWild with redstone, both players constructed a underground metro connecting the town to Fort Aurelian.
On Wednesday 19th, Fuze169 built a bone meal farm in their plot and was pushed to the edge of the town to be killed. Shortly after, Rocktapper1 gave a visitor a tour of the town and when they entered the metro a hunter killed them both. These are the first 3 deaths known in Spruce Swamp's history.
Buildings
Town Hall
Acts as additional storage and main building for settlement.
Observatory
Used to observe the surrounding landscape and provide shelter for breeding dogs. Its roof has a light to act as a lighthouse.

To document key artifacts and documents from the Spruce Swamp's history.
Market Corner
A shop to provide the town gold, and for players to get any resources they need.
Underground Metro
A railway connecting Spruce Swamp to Fort Aurelian directly.
