Alliance or organization, on EarthMC, is a political entity composing of nations, sub-meganations and meganations. It can be said that alliances primarily fulfill military or economic functions, while an organization is just a group of nations with other goals such as maintaining peace. While in the real world NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is a defensive pact, and UN or EU (United Nations, European Union) are organizations; they all would still count as alliances in EarthMC's terminology.
List of alliances
As of March 2022, there were about 20 listed alliances on Terra Nova. As of December 2022, Terra Aurora had 10 alliances categorized. The main organization staying behind categorizing meganations and alliances on EarthMC is "EMC Toolkit Development" which has released a Discord "EarthMC Stats" bot, which is used on a lot of EMC nations' discord servers.
