The Creation of Brivlan
Before Brivlan was established, it was merely a thought in the heads of two people, Thegamingbrick0 and Bonafide_. Thegamingbrick0 was a completely new player to the server, only joining that day. Meanwhile, Bonafide_ had played on the server a year previously as a part of the nation of Ulm, but quit due to boredom. They knew they wanted to create a city together, but didn't know where. They spent most of June 6th searching for the best place. Eventually they found it: Alaska. It was the perfect place for them to settle down. They eventually decided to claim the Western Aleutian Islands to be their city's land. It was remote and didn't have many people nearby, the perfect place to start a new city.
History
The Early Days (6/6/21 - 6/10/21)
The very first days were eventful for the growing town. The building of a settlement began 6/7/21, when they tore down the remains of an old town to create their own on top of it. after the destruction of the old, they began building rapidly. Within this period of time they would build many important buildings which would be the heart of the town. These include:
* The Heart of Brivlan
* The Docks
* Storage
* Furnace room
* Crafting room
* Hangout room
The early days were eventful for the small town. they managed to claim a large portion of the island they called home, claiming one or two chunks a day. The history of the little town would change forever after an integral event to it's history.
The Dangerous Visitors (6/11/21)
On June 11th, three mysterious visitors arrived on the small island. Thegamingbrick0 was building a farmhouse when they arrived. They barged through the farmhouse door, as it wasn't claimed yet, and killed Thegamingbrick0. This caused an alarm in the nation, Bonafide_ joining the game to help incase they needed to fight. While the members of Brivlan had iron armor, the invaders had fully enchanted Diamond armor. They knew they couldn't stand a chance. Lucky for Brivlan, all three invaders would go back to their homes. The town did not know where they came from, and would never find out. This would change the course of Brivlan forever
The New Course (6/11/21 to 6/18/21)
The arrival and subsequent fighting of the mysterious invaders changed the outlook of the outside world for Brivlan forever. Their first visitors tried to kill them, and they wouldn't let that happen again. They began taking materials from long abandoned cities nearby. During their trips, they found many essential items they would have been unable to get themselves. They found an automatic potion maker, chickens, and an enchantment table. The small town has since been preparing for the return of the invaders by using what they found to make their tools better. Beginning on June 11th, 2021, the town began searching ruins of older towns, checking to see if anything was left behind. This has been a fruitful endeavor, as one town had a secret stash of potions hidden underground. To this day, only members of Brivlan know where this secret stash of supplies is. Finally, on June 17th, they finished the creation of the watchtower, their biggest build at that time
The Golden Age (6/19/21 to 6/26/21)
On June 19th, the beginning of the golden age of Brivlan began. On that day, they gained their first new member, Scanty, and began massive plans of construction. The very next day, another member joined. The presence of double the players, expansion exponentially grew. Their plans to create a new living space went much faster than expected, along with the claiming of new chunks. The most ambitious projects to date, the jail and the church to Jebism, began construction. Due to the extra intake of gold, Brivlan began a mass expansion not yet seen in its history. After claiming 32 chunks, they began saving up to create a nation so they could gain more power in the world. While waiting to get the 1024 gold needed for a nation, Brivlan decided to join the nation of Yukon so they could trade to nations around the world and use Yukon's grinder. This allows the nation members to go wherever they want to, and possibly set up relations with nations for when they inevitably become independent. Joining Yukon would be the end of the Golden Age, and begin the Age of Dependence.
The Age of Dependence/Inactivity (6/27/21 to 7/31/21)
The Age of Dependence started when the small town joined the nation of Yukon as to use what they have in the capital. Because of this, Brivlan became more dependent on other nations in the world. They began teleporting to other nations to do mining nearby, using their shops, and much more. While it did help them grow faster, it did limit them on what they can do. Though the age wasn't that different from the golden age previously, they had much less control than they did originally. The second half of the era was known as the Era of Inactivity as many members of the town lost the drive to play the game for a long period of time. For the entirety of the month of July, at most two members would be online at the same time. By the end of the month, it wasn't uncommon to only see one person online.
The Return (8/1/21 to 8/10/21)
During the month of August, Bonafide and Thegamingbrick0 began logging on more often. They began to build more buildings inside of the town, allowing the town to grow. They also started gaining more gold per day due to more voting and it is an all around better era than the past one. They also began to update many of the buildings in the town to either look better or to be more efficient. They also made their animal pens, the chickens and the cows, bigger as to hold more.
The Dying Age (8/11/21-Present)
This is the second decline age of Brivlan. During this time, CrustiesAuto61 was the only active player. Not wanting the town to go to waste he constructed many more buildings to attempt to keep the town alive. During this time there where close calls with town members being kicked for inactivity. With ScantyBurrito actually getting kicked for said reason. CrustiesAuto61 was also kicked (most likely due to bad relations with the other members being inactive). It is unclear what will happen to the town next.

Bonafide_
Bonafide is the first mayor of the city. He, along with Thegamingbrick0 founded the town. While he does build, most of his work in the town is planning.
Thegamingbrick0
Thegamingbrick is a founder of the town. He is the main builder and designer of the town, being the person who designed the heart of Brivlan.
Interaction with other players
Brivlan has had many groups visit them in its short history. The first was on June 11th, when mysterious people arrived and killed Thegamingbrick0. They left soon after that, and there wasn't any other interactions with them after that
The next group to visit were two people. They were friendly, and spent about 20 minutes in the town. One claimed to be from Papua, and their town appears to be the town of Cucurbita. They sat at the campfire with members of Brivlan, and eventually they exchanged gifts. They were made honorary members, but did not actually join the town.
Another player that came close was CrustiesAuto61. He had been in the region a lot with towns such as Adak being very close by. He was camped at the ruins of a town called CrushSoda since he abandoned his old town. He came to see what the town was before leaving a sign saying that the discord link was broken. He has a small shelter close by to see what was happening. (-30807X, 65Y, -10153Z) Overall, he is friendly. After about a day of being in the area, Crusties joined the nation on June 20th, 2021. He was removed from the town on September 26th 2021 due to disagreements with the owners.
On June 30th, a player by the name of XLucy visited the town of Brivlan. After getting a tour by ScantyBurrito, they left on positive relations. On the same day, Scanty decided to visit their town, which was named Chicken_Alaska. Brivlan is planning on having good relations with this new town, and are planning to build an embassy and a Brivlan Mortgage and Credit Union building in their town, if they are okay with it.
Miscellaneous
The Space Commission
The space commission was a short lived pet project of the city mayor Bonafide. One day he had a thought, "You know what? I want to launch myself hundreds of blocks in the air." He began work on what he called, the mega launcher. After about 30 minutes, he gave up as he had no slime blocks and he needed those for his design. The new goal of the space commission is to try to make a flying machine without slime blocks. It has had no new discoveries and is a pretty useless part of Brivlan
Brivlan Mortgage and Credit Union
The Brivlan Mortgage and Credit Union is a new company that was created in the town. On the 26th of June, ScantyBurrito and Bonafide had an epiphany. The Real Estate business has a lot of money in it. And so, The Brivlan Mortgage and Credit Union was born. It is also known as the Brivlan Bank. Its job is to sell houses to people by giving them loans when they cannot afford to pay it fully off the first time, practically giving them a mortgage. They have sold one house so far, and are planning on creating a multination business empire.
The Catacombs of the Aleutian Islands
The Catacombs of the Aleutian Islands are a large network of mines that are connected under and around the town. CrustiesAuto61, the main explorer of the mines, made a video in which he shows off a large portion of the area. You can find that video here.
