Burgundy (Kip)
The town of Burgundy-Prussia was founded by Bourgogne under the name of "Alpine Gaul" after leaving the Greater Roman Empire. Judy's intent was to join France under Barvaux. This town was known in the past as Lombardy, Romandy, and Bern.
The name, Burgundy-Prussia was chosen for the historical location of the Duchy of Burgundy and the ownership of the Canton of Neuchâtel by Prussia.
History
Alpine Gaul
Burgundy was founded in the alps. Bourgogne expanded the town greatly by making a hollow claim in the alps. Eventually, he decided to start claiming north of the alps. The claims north of the alps were filled in.
Expansion
It was in this period that Burgundy acquired the majority of its claims.
Expulsion from France
May
In early May, the town was kicked out of France by King Cragno I. This was due to Cragno and Bourgogne's political differences. Burgundy continued its commitment to France.
Removal of Alps hollow claim
Cause
Burgundy's hollow claim was reported by Switzerland after it refused to join them. This event prompted Bourgogne to leave EMC for 7 days.
German Ultimatum
The Kabinett Threatens Burgundy
The German Kabinett demanded Bourgogne hand over his town to a Swiss citizen. He refused. No action was taken because Burgundy did not have a nation. Germany said that it would declare war on any nation Bern joined.
French Revolution
Paris Grieved
Paris suffered a massive grief by a trusted councillor, Mocc. The Eiffel tower was destroyed and the Louvre raided. This event set the course for the French Revolution.
Cragno Abdicates
Following the grief, King Cragno abdicated. Cactusinapumpkin was made the new King. This made way for a re-entry of Burgundy into France as Bourgogne's allies lobbied for him.
Re-Entry Vote
The vote and the chaos that ensued was caused by Vwon, senator from Lyon.
Operation Rampjaar
From the chaos, a group known as "Operation Rampjaar" formed between many French members. Its members included: Fmr King Barvaux I, LogantheProdigy, Thanamos, Bourgogne, Gregg, and Lamye. Rampjaar members drafted an ultimatum to Benja, Mikey , and Cactus.
Ultimatum Refused and 10 Days of War
The ultimatum was refused. This begun the First French Civil War.
Battle of Zurich
Meanwhile, Germany was still at odds with Burgundy. Burgundy joined Britain right after Germany violated a border treaty with them. Angloist, mayor of Dublin, and Bourgogne started a battle at the border between Zurich and Burgundy. Switzerland and Germany admitted defeat following the event.
The New Deal
Following Switzerland's defeat at Zurich, Burgundy and Switzerland reached a new deal: Burgundy would be shared between both France and Switzerland while being owned by Bourgogne.
Revolutionary Victory
The revolutionaries and French King Cactusinapumpkin reached a deal, beginning the French Republic.
The Future
Bourgogne has quit EMC and has nominated 32Richard as the "Protector of Burgundy".
Buildings
Burgundy is currently still wilderness, however plans were made to start developing the town.

There is religious freedom in Burgundy. The official religion is the Church of Somerset, the last remnant of the old religion on EMC. The patron saints of Burgundy are St. Exodia (fmr Sun King of Somerset and the Foedus Christiana, Mainland) and St. Yaznayu (fmr Sun King of Somerset and the Foedus Christiana, Enclave).

Burgundy claims to be the successor state of the old Burgundy, lead by Vwon. The mayors of Burgundy are given the municipal title of Duke/Duchess.

The Royal Family is the House of Somerset. The house is currently disorganized. HoS members claim the title, Duke/Duchess of Burgundy.
Government
Due to Bourgogne being inactive, the current head of government and de facto leader of Burgundy is the Protector of Burgundy, 32Richard. The protector has the full support of the Duchess of Burgundy.
