Classic:Joel's Belgium

Note: This nation is just called Belgium, but for clarification against Frank's Belgium and other Belgium's, this is referred to as Joel's Belgium.

History

Beginning and Local Problems

This nation was founded shortly after Joel's unban after the "Java-going-nuts-and-greifing-alting-and-advertising-crisis". It was a vassal of Island Union at first. It claimed the open lands between Amsterdam and Alanian Belgium, after a rough start with relations to its neighbors it finally settled down for a day until a Belgian citizen killed a German and then Germany refused to recognize Belgium as a nation.

Early and Major Problems

The situation deteriorated more until Germany declared war on Belgium and Island Union refused to back up their vassal, ending the vassalage. Germany's reason for war included the "Java-going-nuts-and-greifing-alting-and-advertising-crisis" when Joel greifed Japan (Japan and Germany are allies) and despite the 2nd Great Japanese Banning happened when MineHero43 was found to have 5 different alts in the server the Japanese-German connection remained strong and the 2 Days War broke out.

Belgium lost.

Vacation from Belgium

After the 2 Days War ended Joel moved to Scotland and it was planned that an Amsterdam-Alanian coalition would buy Joel's Belgium, however Joel moved back and set up a communist nation called "Utopia"

Utopia

This new town was effectively what his old Belgium was, just with a communist regime. It also started doing things that angered the Caspian States, such as blocking the Alanian Belgium wall and tearing up roads that Alania had built. The nation however was much more peaceful than when Joel was first in Belgium and the powers of the 2 Days War did not fight over Utopia.
